Delicious! We had dinner here last night and everything was very good! I ordered some hot Green Tea, Kimchi Soup and the Sushi & Sashimi Combo. My husband ordered a beer, a piece of Mackerel and the Sushi & Sashimi Combo. The Kimchi Soup is fantastic! It came to the table boiling - literally bubbling. It's rich and spicy and wonderful. The sushi and sashimi were so good! Everything tasted fresh and had a great texture. The service was good, as well. Overall - great sushi and service.

A fantastic, tucked away neighborhood sushi restaurant!Came here first a spontaneous lunch out on a Friday and got a seat right away. There aren't a ton of tables inside so I imagine they can get pretty busy at night. They have some great deals on lunch specials. My wife took advantage of the Bento box deal and I got a few rolls, some miso soup, and we split some crab rangoons. The sushi is made fresh behind the bar which was lovely! The menu is affordable, especially for fresh made sushi like this. Overall, this is a fantastic local spot to get some affordable sushi. We'll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my first time at this sushi restaurant. We were able to walk right in and sit down - didn't need a reservation for a Friday night. The sushi was delicious and was a really good size. The one roll we had had "mountain" in the name and it was HUGE. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back.

Love stopping by here when we want a cozy dinner out. It's a quaint corner restaurant with limited seating, so get here early because they go fast. They have a broad selection of sushi and a limited selection of Korean food which was a pleasant surprise. Our table got a mix of items and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Ended up going for the Neko Salmon Sushi roll, which is torched to perfection with spicy mayo. If you like seared salmon, definitely try this one. The other roll I got was the Spicy Shrimp Tempura, which was just okay. Lots of sauce and imitation crab which masked the flavor of the shrimp. Otherwise, service was great -- our server checked up on us regularly and promptly brought silverware to our table when he realized we didn't have any with our food. Neko is clearly a Cincinnati staple for many people, and It's clear why -- cozy restaurant, fresh fish, good service, cute cat design on everything..

Food: 4 starsService: 3.5 starsMy friend and I came here for dinner on a Thursday night and sat outside on the little patio to enjoy the nice weather. We ordered a good amount of things: edamame, side salads, crab rangoon, and three different sushi rolls. The side salad was not our favorite. The greens were a bit different than what we were used to for an Asian side salad and mine could have used more ginger dressing, but the taste was still great. The crab rangoon is a similar story: it was good, but there are definitely better options nearby. All of the other food was great. We loved the edamame and our sushi rolls. My friend got some raw fish rolls and was a fan. I got the Baked Salmon Roll and really loved it! I loved the combination of the asparagus, cream cheese, and crab that was topped with salmon that was baked to perfection. Plus the perfect sauces on top, too. I would definitely return for this roll! There was only one server for the entire place. This was fine at first, but as it got busier it became an issue. There were three tables seated outside and at least 3 others seated inside and it was too much for this young man to keep up with. I would guess he is part of the family business and maybe they can't find another staff member or possibly do not want to, but I would recommend a second server on busier nights. We got our food and had to wait awhile on chopsticks/silverware. We sat with empty water glasses for half our meal and then sat with them empty a second time. Another solution could be leaving pitchers of water on the table if you don't have enough staff. I would have been happy with that because I would have at least had water. We did not get any dessert but I would like to try their mochi ice cream. I would come back just to get the Baked Salmon Roll. Highly recommend it!

This is one of my favorite sushi place in Cincinnati. I had ordered bunch of rolls and nigiri for a party and loved that they put it into a party plate. Everyone at the party loved the rolls and the nigiri. The owners are super nice and the food is always amazing! I highly recommend their labokki as well!

Food: 4.5/5We got the gyoza for an appetizer, green tea and the ginjo sake to drink, and the tiger roll, spicy tuna roll, and tempura spicy tuna roll for sushi. I love coming to this place and trying the different rolls. Gyoza was a bit on the crispy side but had great flavor. I like dry sake, so the ginjo was perfect. The tempura spicy tuna is one I order every time, but if you don't like cream cheese in sushi, it's not for you. Service: 4/5Service is fast for a sushi restaurant with attentive staff. The owner is usually there to greet and seat you. Atmosphere: 4.5/5Neko is the Japanese word for cat. The restaurant is true to its name and has cats everywhere. The space is small but clean and organized. The decor includes highlights of adorable kitties.

I went with a friend to get food and wasn't quite sure what to expect. We were going to order sushi rolls as we saw the menu mainly contained a lot of different types of sushi choices. The restaurant was a little small, but held enough tables and wasn't too busy at the time we went to be overloaded inside. The staff were very sweet and came to ask about how our food was many times to make sure it was to our liking. The sushi bar was open to view the sushi creations. What I really liked about the restaurant was the cat theme which was charming. There were both wire figures and paintings on the restaurant window.

Freshest sushi in Cincinnati at an affordable price and lots of other authentic and delicious Korean and Japanese dishes (kimchi jigae, soft shell crab and tempura udon are among our faves). Kim (owner) and all of the staff are always warm and welcoming. Service is consistently efficient. This place is a true gem!
