Nawabi Hyderabad House Cincinnati

We've been 4 times in four weeks. Does that mean we're regulars now? We're definitely fans! We've tried several different dishes now. The appetizers we've tried: 65 Paneer on a Spicy level and the Majestic Gobi on a Medium level. Entrees we've ordered: Gongura Curry Goat, Andhra Curry Chicken, Nawabi Paneer Masala, Andhra Curry Goat, Karaikudi Curry Fish. Madras Curry Goat and Butter Masala Shrimp. And the Chilli Bullet Naan.They have 4 spice levels. Mild - Medium - Spicy - Very Spicy. Pay attention to those levels and what your true spice tolerance is before you order. We eat spicy food often. We've grown exotic hot peppers, my husband will sprinkle things with dried ghost chili powder or 7 pot powder. He always orders his dishes on the spiciest levels. He decided to choose spicy and I chose medium for our first dishes ordered and have stuck with it. We have enjoyed every single dish we've ordered. Everything has tasted delicious and has been hot and fresh tasting. So far my favorite was the Nawabi Paneer Masala. I could've licked the bowl! The only dish that I was somewhat disappointed in was the Butter Masala Shrimp. I would order it again because it tasted wonderful but I would not order it with shrimp again. It came with tiny shrimp that was salad shrimp size and hardly in shrimp in the dish. Once the few, tiny shrimp were eaten in the first scoop onto my plate - I was left with rice and sauce. Still yummy, though. I'd order it with chicken, if ordering again. My husband enjoyed each dish he's ordered and said he'd order every one of them again.The Majestic Gobi appetizer was great! My husband is not a big fan of cauliflower but ordered it knowing I like it. He devoured it. I had to eat fast to make sure I could get to it before he finished it off. The appetizers we've ordered are big and filling - so we haven't ordered them each time. The chilli bullet naan is sooo good! It was spicy 3 out of the 4 times we had it. We really enjoyed it. We also really liked the desserts that we've ordered to take home on two of the occasions. The Gulab Jamun and the Kala Jamun. Yummy little sweet treats! The service has always been very good. Efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu. Likely very soon!

I was looking for a nice place to have lunch and I happened upon the Hyderabad House - you're welcomed with the familiar aromas of an Indian kitchen - the hostess greeted me and seated me quickly - they were pretty busy but managed to get my order in and returned with my drink and an appetizer - the restaurant is fairly quiet considering the restaurant was half full - it's always nice to enjoy my lunch with the sound of other patrons enjoying their food! The food was pretty amazing - I had the lamb curry with garlic naan - I was asked about my heat level - I picked six out of ten - the seasonings were perfect - the mango lassi helped tone down the flame thrower in my mouth - if you like spicy, this is the place for you - but, spicy in a good way!

This restaurant replaced another Indian restaurant that went out of business that I liked, so I had high hopes and tried dining in initially. I asked for "Paneer Tikka Masala" and was served a dish that didn't seem right at first glance.The curry color was off and I saw some meat chunks. Long story short, I was mistakenly served a goat dish. The employee asked if that was ok with me and I told him I'm vegetarian.He apologized and took the food away. After waiting more time for the remake, the paneer dish that came back was good, but not great. It had cheese cubes (paneer) in it, but was again the wrong sauce/gravy.I think some of our communications were lost due to a language barrier, but I've eaten at many authentic Indian restaurants with no issue whatsoever.

if you have allergies pls do not eat at this place. we loved eating here. but the last time we ordered we got shrimp in my sons butter chicken order. the Manager confirmed that we had stated she'll fish allergies and requested no cross contamination. we don't care about suing but are not happy about the negligence. my son's shellfish allergies are over the charts and I am grateful that he didn't bite and have the shrimp but oh my gosh. also the manager was so no big deal about it that it really pisses me off. thankfully my son is fine. .

The price of biryani's (which are made with Basmati rice) increased by $2 and price of Curries increased by $1?When I asked for a reason they said it is because of the Sona Masoori rice ban.This is LOOTING. Bloody Looting.What does biryani and curry have to do with Sona Masoori rice? Ridiculous.See the old bill and new bill below.

First time here and it was great! It is very spicy though so beware. I Recommend the medium. They have a large menu with several vegetarian options. Lots of indo Chinese, apps, biryani and typical North Indian dishes as well! We enjoyed the chili baby corn, Gobi manchurian and paneer tikka biryani. The chili baby corn and Gobi manuchurian tasted pretty similar. The biryani comes with raita which was perfect for cooling down. They also have scrumptious looking cakes and desserts on display! We were too full but will def try next time!

The food was excellent, and the servers were very patient with us (we had a large group and stayed quite a while). I had the Mehti Curry, it was perfectly spicy and had so much flavor. I plan to go back and try a couple of the dishes others ordered, they looked delicious and very interesting!

Horrible service for mediocre food, I placed to go order, the person took order had no manners on how to talk customers, he literally yelled and intimidated. Food is just mediocre, not going to ea from this place again.

I ordered a chicken dum Biriyani today . the Biriyani was good but the salan was rotten as well as aita. this is not expected

Good taste, friendly staff. Could be a little more careful packing the takeout. Overall a nice restaurant
