A really nice science museum, pretty well aimed at kids though interesting to adults too. And less crowded, and far less chaotic, than the Children's Museum in the complex.A display on seasons with plants, animals, habitats. Dino skeletons. Space exhibit downstairs. A glacial tunnel. Loads to explore. Definitely get to Union Station and check out this and the local history museum.

Great museum to learn about history and science in a fun and interactive way. Like most museums of this nature they had a huge section on dinosaurs and animals but as you went deeper into the museum they had some great immersive exhibits. There is a replica cave to walk through with stalagmites and stalactites. It even has dripping water and a river running through it. The ice age section is also large scale with the opportunity to walk through a glacier. This does a great job of not only showing the impact of the ice age but the effects of global warming. They have a photo art exhibit that captures some detailed close up photos of the life cycle of a frog from egg to full grown. The museum ends with their space exhibit. Don't be afraid to lay on the floor to experience the split system in a visual show.

The Museum of Natural History and Science is one of the three museums that make up Cincinnati Museum Center. All three museums are included with the general admission price of admission. Take a look at pricing options as you can combine and bundle other experiences for a best value.Helpful hint, remember comfortable shoes and hold onto your tickets. You will need your tickets getting into and reentering the exhibits. I really felt bad when I would see someones ticket on the ground. When walking into the museum you first approach Dinosaur Hall. Dinosaur fossils and history are always so cool. We also went through the Neil Armstrong Space Exploration Gallery. This itself was it's own world, both educational and fun to take it all in. I think my favorites we the Ice Age Gallery and seeing the giant sloth, and the wolves and other mammals/animals in the scenes as you walk through.I was really disappointed the cave wasn't opened. This would have been such a highlight and because of that not an excellent visit. Even with that part closed I loved exploring, and learning, and for a little bit, I felt like a kid again taking in all the cool things I have loved since a young age. I mean, how can you go wrong with dinosaurs, the ice age, space exploration, and a giant sloth! It's a great museum for kids and adults alike.

So many great exhibits for children and adults alike. There is a small dinosaur/fossil area. If you're interested in space, the Neil Armstrong space area is excellent with a fun viewing area for short films. I think the cave area was the most fun. Please note you can only do the multilevel path if you can fit into a fairly narrow area (I would check before you go-- they have a sign at the entrance). There is a more flat wider path also. The ice age area is fun to walk through as well. It isn't the biggest museum, but it's beautifully done.

Museum is awesome! Food court is not. Two visits and both disappointing. Barely warm food and today took 50 minutes to get our order, they had misplaced it. They need a better process.

This is a small, clean, well-organized, interesting museum inside the Cincinnati Museum Center. They have a dinosaur hall with many large genuine dinosaur fossils, not just casts. They have an on site lab for restoration of fossils, with a large viewing window, so you can see them work. On the day I was there, I got to see them working on an impressive triceratops skull. They also had space/Apollo 11 exhibits and animal exhibits.I liked it because it had interesting content, but it wasn't overwhelmingly packed with so much info that you couldn't take it all in. Being this size and this well laid out, it allows one to truly appreciate the material and internalize it.Please support this local museum!

I have visited Cincinnati a trillion times and even used to live nearby, and I never knew that this museum existed. Little did I know that it is such a gem! There are multiple exhibits within the same building, but this one had to be one of my favorites. It has a lot about dinosaurs, caves, and other cool things. It was able to teach me a lot! Not only that, but it is very nice and well-kept. The price wasn't too bad either for how much you get to go through - they do charge for parking as well. Totally worth checking out on your next trip to Cincy!

Excellent! The hands on section was amazing. There were a lot of kids, but there were plenty of activities for the kids to get their hands. Tons of dinosaur information and outer space exhibits. We got there too late so we rushed through the museum. I can't wait to make it back with more time! Pricing was great! Around $40 for one adult. 2 children for three museums!!!

I am sure my review will change once everything is open, but The Cave and the science areas were all closed so the only thing I can review is the Dinosaur area. The Dinosaur area was really great. There were so many fossils and information on them. My kids are under six and it held their attention and interested for almost 45 minutes. There were some fun hands-on things like the close up microscope that my kids liked a lot. They also liked watching the paleontologist work and being able to watch up close on the TV screen. The interactive globe of the time periods was also another place we watched for awhile. I will say that with a lot of stuff being closed, I do feel like the museum should lower pricing until everything is fully opened.

Super fun experience overall! Swamped with kiddos so make sure you get there early and give yourself extra time to do all the activities.
