Mr Gatti's Pizza

After spending the day boating on the Ohio River we were looking for a quick place to eat before heading home. A quick searched resulted in us going to Gatti's. This buffet not only offers salad and pasta but a wide variety of pizza's. If you've ever been to a CiCi's pizza you'll know exactly what Gatti's is like. The prices are reasonable and we got our fix of carbs before leaving.

The pizza and buffet selection is pretty decent. However, be weary about the time in which you choose to go eat. Although their hours say they close at 9, they could lock the doors up early (around 8:00 in our case). Essentially, forcing us to go elsewhere.

My husband and I decided to try Gatti's pizza buffet one night. We had ordered a pizza from there before and liked it- though it was also about $7, so we didn't complain! The inside of Gatti's is very bright and welcoming, it's definitely a family friendly restaurant. It seemed that everyone was having the buffet. We paid upfront, and it was all you can eat. They had a great salad bar- lots of different veggies and toppings and dressings. They had a pasta selection: spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, penne. They had a wide selection of pizzas- bbq chicken, pepperoni, cheese, sausage, smoked chicken, vegetable, and one with everything. They also had dessert pizzas- though they were out of the chocolate one by the time we got to dessert. There was also fountain drinks, and a soft serve vanilla ice cream machine. Overall, it was pretty good. I liked the salad bar best- the pizza was good, but not great. They also have an arcade in the back for kids or those who like to be kids again!

Not a bad place to grab a bite with your kid but the food quality isn't great. They will make whatever pizza you'd like, which is a plus. The salad is usually fresh and they do keep things on the buffet hot. The games in the back are a perk but there are only about a dozen choices. Overall, an okay place and probably best if you are just trying to entertain your kids for an hour or so.

I had the Stromboli, and it was ok. My friends had the buffet, which was very reasonable price-wise, but none especially liked the pizza. The cheese and cinnamon sticks were probably the best part. Would have rated it 2 stars, but the arcade in the back made it awesome! But overall, not a place I would be excited about returning to.

This place has made to order food even if u cannot handled a traditional pizza they have any pizza on cauliflower crust and fresh salad bar with great ingredients great atmosphere friendly service it is a great place to eat and it will not hurt ur wallet.

We drove down to Portsmouth from Chillicothe to try out the Gattis. I must say that it was absolutely excellent. The pizza was very, very good, the dessert. Pizzas were very very good. The price is extremely reasonable for a buffet. I was very pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend going there sometime.

I had over a 1000 tickets and the lady that scan my card and said I only had 98 tickets yes only 98 tickets this is definitely a scam and I will call the manager in the morning

Best food place ever 10 out of 10 would recommend to everybody I ever meet. I love Gatti's and I would die if I didn't have a Gatti's in Portsmouth

Very excellent pizzeria, with an all you can eat buffet, including, salads, pastas, and tons of customizable pizzas as well as pre made combinations. Also they have a video arcade which is very affordable and contains prizes for the kids. Fun for the whole family, would definitely recommend.
