If you want to watch fudge and candy made from scratch with an old fashioned "general store" feel, give this place a visit. They have milkshakes and ice cream, assorted fudge, candy and an old soda fountain. They do have a seating area so you could sit inside and get warmed up if you visited during the winter hours as well. Every treat we bought was delicious! Consider shopping small and supporting local families for gifts.

Two marble tables line the left wall, where this amazing woman hand-makes some of the best fudge I have had since I was a little child. Fudge is sold by the slice or half slice and is out-of-this-world. I picked up some Black Walnut and my husband got the Peanut Butter and Chocolate. They also have Buckeyes in creamy our crunchy, that are unique in that they house rice crisps inside. In the back of the store is an old-fashioned soda shop selling shakes and phosphates. . Completed by a jukebox with all the old tunes. If you want their treats, though, you have to come early. . The whole town closes up at 5pm. It is definitely worth the trip for the fantastic fudge. Hand-made is miles above store bought. I will be visiting often.

Best home made fudge and assorted sweets in the world. This place is amazing. The make the own fudge none of that shipped in stuff you find in several other shops in Metamora. The shop is amazing also, like an old time soda shop. You can watch Donna ( the owner ) make the fudge on massive stone tables right in front of your eyes. No other place you can find makes fudge this good.
