Moonrise Donuts

The girl who works there has 0 personality. Not even a Hello or Good Morning. Could barely help me or give me time to choose donuts. Donuts might be good but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. First time might be the last time.

I've heard so many good things about donuts and was glad we finally got to try them! I didn't get to try the hot donut and I think that's what everyone looks forward to. The other donuts were more basic flavors. But they were really amazing. They don't taste greasy and heavy like so many donuts. The frosting was also really thick and flavorful. A good doubt I guess I was just expecting more exciting flavors. But maybe the main store and has more. But the ones we had were good. And a good price too.

First off, the selection is extremely limited with ridiculous flavors. I went with a classic cinnamon sugar doughnut, only to have the thing be so covered in sugar and cinnamon, literal chucks of sugar were falling off, it was disgusting! That combined with how soft they were just made the whole thing inedible. The frosting on the kids doughnuts was easily 1/2 inch thick....Overall the only reason they got 2 stars was the staff were friendly. Do yourself a favor and go to Kroger for your doughnuts, this was not even close to worth it.

Best doughnuts on the planet. Glad I finally tried these. I tried them at Crossroads Florence for the first time, so I finally stopped by this location. Loved the cinnamon sugar & caramel donuts. This one needs some good review love so here I am. Try this place Today!!!

Don't bother unless your time is not important to you. Their website says they are open until ten P.M. on Friday. Got there at 8.50 P.M. and they were closed. They totally wasted my time. will not happen again. Bad management.

When I travel I look for local donut shops - I enjoy a good yeast-raised donut and I like to sample what local shops produce. While visiting N KY, I made the drive over. This area has very few local donut shops - a shame really. Anyway, this place wasn't easy to get to, but it was bright and the staff friendly. I bought a couple of different donuts and returned to my hotel. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe my reaction to these donuts. Frankly, some of the worst I've ever had. They weren't fresh - they tasted and felt like they were 3 days old. Truly terrible. I hate to write a review like this, particularly about a small shop. I hope they get some help to adjust how they make their donuts, because these aren't good.

Amazing staff. Hot donut is amazing. These are truly from scratch donuts made with care and are delicious! Yes a bit pricier than Dunkin or Kroger, but thats because they are made from scratch with good ingredients! The toppings are also from scratch and not plastic. If you want cheap basic donuts and prefer to support giant corporations and shareholders do yourself a favor and go to Krogers or dunkin. If you want to support a Kentucky family that pits their heart and soul into their donuts that are AMAZING and for the culinary cultivated, then dont miss Moonrise Donuts!

This hot donut of the day is by far the best donut I've ever had and the customer service was amazing as well!!

Doughnuts and coffee were so good and the staff was to helpful! Had so many options it was hard to choose.

Great experience!! Donuts are creative and delicious, and those who serve them are super friendly and helpful! The daily hot donut can't be beat!Love this place!
