Mill Race Banquet Center

Attended this venue as a part of the Great Parks Dinner Series which is like a mystery dinner/murder mystery. I won't review the series but I could just say it was an enjoyable experience for an affordable price. They had a bunch a round tables and a small stage for the entertainment. There was a rolling bar area that was by the entrance which was really just a makeshift closet space.The food was buffet style and was good. I went back for seconds so I can't complain. Staff was friendly and made the night enjoyable.

The Mill Race Banquet Center, operating under the umbrella of Great Parks of Cincinnati, is a very nice venue for a party or celebration of around 120 people. My experience was with class reunion attended by 85 persons - plenty of room to eat, dance, announce and generally have a good time. Our meal plan was the "extravagant dinner" which provided two entrees of choice, veggies, potato and non-alcoholic drinks. A cash bar was available - the reunion brought in its own sheet cake. The budget was modest and the staff at Mill Race Banquet Center did everything expected to help us stretch the budget and end the evening entirely satisfied with service. I enjoyed the evening (6PM - 10PM) as there is a very ample balcony overlooking the Mill Golf Course putting green. In August the sun sets to the viewers right and casts some wonderul shadows over the green and the golf course. Very serene looking and feeling. For those who smoke, there is a patio end-area which takes smokers away from the doors and give ample room to sit and talk. Set-up was timely. There is an elevator on the 1st floor so loading extras and decorations was simple. They do not allow balloons. ???? But most everything else goes. The staff will let you in early to decorate and they help with some simple take-down of decor. I think you'll find the Mill Race Banquet Center a very affordable, convenient and well-equipped banquet center.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. The banquet center is located on the golf course at Winton Woods. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with old mill gears that are in still in place, a stone fireplace and gorgeous views. If you are a diy'r this is a dream to decorate. The natural light, wood and stone elements are a perfect backdrop. The food was absolutely delicious. We weren't sure what to expect with in house catering. It was beyond our expectations. The prime rib was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pork loin was tender and the apple chutney was a perfect companion. The dinner service was seamless as well as the setup and clean up. If you're looking for an affordable venue without over the top options then this can't be beat. We would host another party here without question. Bravo, Mill Race. And a special shoutout to Kathleen, the event coordinator, she was a delight.
