Milano Italian Restaurant

Food was amazing, and service was so nice and fast even though they were short staffed! Had the pasta Milano and I would definitely go back to have it all over again. Amazing romantic ambiance as well. You can tell from the picture we cleaned every plate

I've only been here a couple times, but really enjoyed the caprese salad. It's big, and makes a solid entree on its own.The lunch pizza is shaped like a slice, but is not a slice. It's decent, but I wouldn't get it regularly.Haven't tried desserts here, yet, but will do so on my next visit.

We came here for dinner tonight because the place we wanted to go to in town was closed, and they had the better reviews on Yelp unless you wanted Mexican food. It's casual yet elegant inside, and the tables had beautiful fresh flowers. When I saw Arbor Mist on the wine list, I immediately thought it didn't go with the vibe since that was more like a cheap wine cooler and just odd to see on the menu. The menu looked terrific regarding food and aesthetics--even the check presenters were leather and gave the impression you were at a higher-end establishment. The food Lacked flavor, and in every dish, from complimentary bread, salads, and entrees, there were no fresh ingredients as advertised. What made me upset was this. I like real food, and most packaged crap has so many additives in it that I do not want to eat. ( or my hubby, who suffers from an autoimmune GI disease. I try to find places with natural fresh ingredients to avoid eating processed crap. Even the chicken tasted like that, which was really disappointing. I like real food, so I can't recommend this place. And trusted that since they advertised that they had fresh ingredients, our food would have been that, and it wasn't.

I'd take Fazolis over this place. There is absolutely no flavor, no passion, no love in any of this food. It's offensive this place claims to be Italian food. Why have 100 items on a menu that are half-assed? This place feels so lazy and outdated. A revamp is needed ASAP.

Excellent food and service! I have been to two locations in Louisville, both great. The food is flavorful and fresh. The calzones and cheese bread is fantastic. Milanos offers catering and family meals. The best Italian food in Louisville. I have enjoyed every dish I've tried so far. Milanos is one of my favorite restaurants.

The food was incredible! We have driven past this place a few times but never stopped. When family came in town they wanted Italian, so we figured we would try it out. So glad we did! The service was friendly and fast. Everything was clean and picked up. There were a lot of people coming and going too which is always a good sign! We will surely be back.

Great little place in Shelbyville. Casual atmosphere with good service most of the time. Sometimes it can be a bit slow when they get busy. The potion sizes on pizza, calzones and salads is generous and these tend to be their best items.

Bryan was our server and he was attentive and friendly. Calzones were amazing, fresh delicious home made pizza dough and plenty of fillings. They need to warn patrons about the size, they are like footballs and can easily be shared. Wish we lived nearby because we would become regulars!

To an uncultured swine like myself, Jonathan was a huge help - great service. The food is always good. Good to dine on, exceptional for takeout.
