Mike's Fish & Chicken

The food was fresh and delicious, it came from like 30 mins away. I didn't interact with anyone, but as far as service, I received all of my food. I'm not how the vibe of the store is since I used DoorDash. The cake is amazing. I wish there was a tiny bit more icing.

If you're reading this review go ahead and order some Mike's. It's delicious fried food, cooked when you order it, seasoned thoroughly. Never over priced always delicious. My additional recommendation, get a piece of cake. Yellow cake, German chocolate cake, strawberry cake. The slices are generous and the cake is moist.

I ordered fried fish and shrimp and it was soft and soggy! I recommend telling them fry the seafood until well done. In addition, my order was via grub hub and NOT sealed as requested. Proper containers and sealing is very important in today's environment.

Love this chicken wings. I like them with the lemon pepper. They are crispy and flavorful.

Amazing food & incredible service! Catfish n chips + #23 was amazing !! Happened upon it driving through town and I'm so glad I stopped.

So when I go out of town, my requirement is that my friends take me to local restaurants. My friend suggested I try this place. It has a very homely look and vibe and the plaza gets a lot of business with a liquor store next door. The chicken fingers were delicious and so was my seasoned turkey burger. I will definitely return. The staff was super nice too!

This has some absolutely delicious food my main go to is the chicken and fries. You get a big meal the chicken is big strips the menu is extensive and I've eat to try something I didn't like great local restaurant

Sorry folks. Gave it a chance. It's beyond bad. We threw it out but we did try a few bites before doing so. I'm really not sure what is going on with this place. The chicken wings really didn't taste like chicken. The fries were under cooked. I'm surprised at the high reviews

Pros...large portions, hot and fresh food, nice folks working there. Cons...the fish uses a cornmeal breading which was not very flavorful and was chewy. We tried the 2pc cod, fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Honestly was not impressed with much of the food. Did not care for the cornmeal breading at all. The hush puppies were not great, and the fries were nothing special. Overall 3 stars because the portion size was good, the food was cooked to order, and the folks working were friendly. This is not the place to go if you are looking for traditional battered fish.
