Special Jose This one doesn't have the lettuce, tomatoes, and guacamole so it's basically a plain Jane version. It's still pretty tasty.

I would sell my soul to have this for the rest of my life. I LOVE YOU MI VIEJOOO Food is served quick but tastes absolutely divine. Waiters are kind and hot! And it's just a whole vibe in there with their bar and amazing paintings.

Good: queso and salsa and the avocado creama that came with the Quesobirra (don't get your hopes up.. not good.) Great vibe with the ambiance. The nitty gritty: Service was awful. I've never experienced bad service in a Mexican restaurant. But he essentially forgot about us.. so much so that when we stood in line to pay without the bill.. he surely found us then. He forgot our queso, but made sure to charge for it. No silverware. No napkins. A refill, good thing we were in the desert needing to quinch our thirst. The waters had two ice cubes in it and the kids sprite came in a giant glass. My husband got the grande burrito.. cold in the middle. Lettuce was wilted and we could tell that it was sitting somewhere. I got the quesobirra. All cold: I couldn't even ask for anything different because he simply never came back. My child got chicken nuggets and fries.. could definitely tell they were fried in the same grease as fish. Good thing no one was severely allergic. Then when we said our issue he ripped the bill out of my hand. So safe to say, we won't be back.

Outstanding food and portion sizes are enormous! Any time we visit Madison, IN, this is a must. The restaurants is huge, so seating is abundant. They have a daily buffet, including weekends, from 11-2. If you love Mexican food, don't miss this one!

Always a great experience eating at this place. The servers are light on their feet and quick to get food in front of you. I usually eat too much when I go there but today I tried a Burrito Superior. It was just right. I look forward to trying other menu items.

Having lived in San Diego and traveled Mexico, Im pretty picky and spoiled when it comes to Mexican food. The ambience here is nice. The wait staff were attentive. Inside looked clean. I had the fajitas Jalisco. They were flavored well. The steak and chicken was cut into small slivers, which was different than I'd ever had, but everything was flavored well. The peppers and onions were also in slivers. This one has tomatoes, which I didn't mind, but not always in fajitas. Tortillas are not home made. Beans and rice were ok, seasoned well. Overall, great experience and decent food!

My mom has continued to visit this spot every Sunday, during her visits to Madison. This is not in located on the historical street that most people visit while in Madison. But this is worth leaving the beaten path to visit. This was an old steakhouse turned into a Mexican restaurant. Salsa is made fresh daily and you can buy it buy the quart. Food is fresh and not the taste of the typical local Mexican restaurant. Service is great too! Great for groups too!

The best Mexican food in town by far. Do not waste your time at Tapatios, Diego's, or El Nopal. The service is always outstanding the food is hot and very tasty. I love the house dip - cheese with meat and jalapeños, and the fish tacos. The margaritas are also the best in town. They salt the rim and add lime on the side. YUM. I go almost every week.
