ORDER THE VEGETARIAN TACO (on corn tortillas)!!!When I decided to come here I thought it would just be your standard Mexican/tex-mex place. I was very wrong. First, I had a margarita and it was tasty. It wasn't just your standard margarita mix with cheap tequila marg. There was fresh orange squeezed in (you could see a little of the pulp on the bottom). It was fresh, perfectly balanced and delicious. Not the best margarita I've ever had but considering the price it was great.Next I got the guacamole and was concerned about it being your standard cheap guac from a blender. But once again well balanced and delicious with little chunks of avocado and onion. Also they served chips and salsa and they have really fresh tortilla chips which added to the addictiveness of the guac. I ordered three tacos as my entree - the shrimp taco, the veggie taco and steak taco; all on corn tortillas. The steak was a fall back because so often shrimp and veggie tacos aren't great and I was so glad I was wrong. All three tacos were great because the corn tortillas were perfectly warm and soft and had that perfect balance of soft but not so soft that they fall apart. And they added to the flavor of each taco. The steak taco was good but your standard steak taco just with a great tortilla. The shrimp taco was really good and well balanced in crunchiness with nice jumbo shrimp and fresh toppings. I'd definitely order it again. But the VEGGIE TACO WAS INCREDIBLE! I've had tacos all over the world including Texas, Mexico, California, Dubai, all over Europe and all over the world. That was the single BEST VEGGIE TACO I've ever had! You can tell whoever created the menu prides themselves in creating good vegetarian dishes. They have a vegetarian specific menu which I've never seen at another Mexican restaurant but I will be thinking about these vegetarian tacos for the rest of my life. I'd go as far to say that I will try my best to come to Lexington specifically for that taco!I always forget to mention the service because to me if a place has great food I'll go regardless (unless the service is that bad) but here the service actually is impeccable. From the moment I entered the staff welcomed me with a smile and were really friendly. Our server was super attentive but not annoyingly so as can happen sometimes. Its a pretty casual place with your standard american Mexican restaurant so you don't have to dress up to enjoy a fantastic meal.

Attended a work lunch here...my first time. Some colleagues had been before & gave positive feedback. I sampled some queso, it was thick (which I prefer over too runny). I ordered the Steak covered with queso & side of rice & beans. Three tortillas came with order. Food was delicious. Those seated next to me were pleased with their orders. Our party consisted of about 20-25. Servers were efficient & nice. I'll definitely come again, restaurant is more spacious than it appears on the outside. Parking seems limited. But we parked in Julietta Market's lot, so just a quick walk across the street.

The place looks super colorful and fun from the outside, so we'll have to go back and try the margaritas!The fajita taco salad was delicious - loads of fajita veggies, juicy pieces of chicken, a good amount of guacamole!Their salsa is a little weird, it made us think of marinara sauce (maybe there was a lot of oregano) and it was pretty thick and goopy.
