I have a sad teenager, and yummy food can help. Popped on by to get some of their chicken Katsu Ramen and sushi. We were able to get in and order right away. The post was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I'm looking forward to an awesome dinner.We took it to go so I can't comment about the ambience but I like this place. This is a nice little spot. I know a lot of folks in town that love to order from here. Very popular.

I love Megumi! Staff is extremely kind and the food seems to be very authentic. Great sushi and ramen, I especially love the shrimp tempura ramen! Restaurant is lowkey small but vibes are great.

Megumi is a well run local business. They have recently updated their dining too and actually have added a quality counter for small but nice sushi bar. Food is fresh but in my opinion, suffers from too much cornstarch aftertaste on beef dishes, and too much sodium on chicken dishes. We have tried hibachi chicken, steak, as well as popcorn chicken and sesame chicken.I am used to restaurants flavoring more with spices, garlic, citrus, pepper--- rather than so much salt. All that said - we will still be back when we are in the mood for hibachi carry out.

Clean, cute, and little. Food seems to take forever; they make it fresh, no microwaveable Applebees food here.Yes! The wait for food is painful BUT the food is fantastic and authentic Japanese. I can't say how good the food is. The only bummer is they're located in such a sucky place; I'd be awesome if they'd be able to make it to the square. Although I don't think they need much help with business, they're slamming most of the time. Yes! Eat here. Just bring a game to play while you're waiting for the food. Oh, and give grace to the workers, they don't speak English very well. I didn't think about snapping a pic of my roll .. I'll do that next time and add it.

So. I ordered on GrubHub and it says I skipped my option to do a review -- which is false so I'm doing it here. Grub hub driver was nice and quick, food was hit when it arrived. Thanks guy. This is why it's 2 stars. I ordered about $70 worth of food and I have to say I'm the most unimpressed I've been in a long time. I ordered fried rice, it just looks like brown rice---bland tasting and absolutely not what I'd define as fried rice after living in Asia for 8 years. Not that I expect it to be like it was there but a good honest effort would be nice. My steak AND chicken dinner was just steak--no chicken. And my salads were just lettuce. Lettuce and dressing doesn't make a salad. Idk, maybe it does to you but I doubt it. We will not go there or order from there again.Definitely unfortunate.

Unfortunately, on a busy Saturday night, they were VERY overwhelmed. I wouldn't say understaffed...just working under their potential. I thought I'd grab a quick bite before heading back west for a 3.5 hr roadtrip so ordered online before I arrived. All my order was one roll and an edamame. Walked in about 20 minutes after placing order and it's not ready. So I waited...for over an hour, while their back log of sushi orders kept piling and piling up. More and more people kept arriving to pick up their orders and there is no place to put them so access to about everything inside is blocked. My edamame came out and sat on the counter for half an hour, while still waiting on the roll and got chilled. I asked them to cancel my order at the 45 minute mark and they said "well, yours is next in line, can you just wait 7 minutes?" 7 minutes was double that. So all of that hassle for a mediocre roll, cool edamame, zero discount or even particularly apologizing for their mismanaged order system.
