We came here to see Bob the Dragqueen. While this pavilion has multiple possible setups, we were in a pretty small theater. Several rows of folding chairs, which weren't too uncomfortable, with a balcony/mezzanine section with a couple rows of regular theater seats and then bench seats. The stage is quite high, so sitting close like we did (second row center) wouldn't work for all things, but for comedy, it was perfect. The way Bob set himself up on stage, we didn't have to crane our necks. We took a Lyft, but parking is plentiful, affordable, and right by the elevators into the venue. The staff were all super nice, from the parking attendants (who told us how to get into the venue), the ticket folk, the security folks. This pavilion has a specific bag rule--a 14x14 clear bag can be used or a 5x8 smaller solid bag. No one was really measuring, but they did a basic check and there was a metal detector. We had VIP tickets, so we had a different entry than others, so I can't speak to how organized regular entry is. Some others have said it was disorganized and messy. We purchased VIP lounge passes for 35 each. It was nice to have a place to sit and grab some drinks and they had snacks and pizza as part of the package (drinks had to be paid for separately). The woman behind the bar was even nice enough to hold our posters for us during the show, as we had no place to put them, so they wouldn't get ruined.Very close to downtown, very accessible, great staff. Besides the dystopian name (as mentioned by Kyle S. last month), it's a solid venue.

I've had the pleasure of seeing The Dirty Heads twice at this venue in the last two years, and both experiences have been nothing short of amazing. This is easily one of my favorite venues. This venue is a gem--intimate enough to make you feel close to the action, yet spacious enough to accommodate a lively crowd. There isn't a bad view in the house, and you're treated to an awesome view of the Cincinnati skyline. The bar situation is fantastic--huge and well-staffed, making it easy to grab a drink without missing a beat. Getting in and out of the venue is a breeze, too. Everything about this place is well thought out, from the layout to the overall vibe.If you're planning to catch a show here, I highly recommend staying at the Hampton Inn (across the street) or the Aloft (just a few blocks over). Both are just a short, easy walk to and from the venue, making for a stress-free night out. Overall, this is one of the best venues around! Five stars all the way.

Besides the dystopian name, solid venue! Came here for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Show sounded great. Only problem was it was a nightmare to get into the venue. No real order to the line outside it was kind of a free for all.

Nice venu for live music. Tonight is a Led Zeppelin tribute band. Atmosphere allows for kids and a docile crowd. The acoustics and sound for a performance were incredible! The band that performed was outstanding but it's the acoustics in the building that were a stand out!If you looking for a place to listen to your favorite performer this is IT! And Zoso knocked it out of the park?

This seems like a great venue. We were there on a hot day and was thrilled to find that the show was indoors. Thank goodness! We were there early for VIP. The process seemed well organized. We were in the first row. My only issue is the speakers were extremely loud. I know... it's always a risk when sitting in the front row, but the volume was truly extreme. For the size of the venue, that volume was not needed. That said, the call for loudness most likely came from the performer. As awesome as it is to be upfront to see the "whites of their eyes", it's probably best to sit a bit further back... or remember to bring cotton. We've only been here once, but I wouldn't hesitate to return for other artists. And I think I'd enjoy an outdoor show provided the weather was just right.

I'm here for the Northern Kentucky Chamber 7th annual Women's Initiative Regional Summit. It's a beautiful and clean space. We are seated at large round tables with plenty of space in between the tables. Great lighting and visual effects. A stage and screens to see the speaker. Good sound and easy to hear the presenter. Would recommend this space for other type activities. Heck I could see a band or other types of performance in this space.

We got tickets to see Lyle Lovett on a Friday night. Perfect for general admission/Lawn tickets because the weather was so nice. They have a parking garage so I am not sure of pricing. We decided to park at the Newport on the Levee garage which was cheaper. It was only two blocks to get there. It was kind of confusing finding the entrance. We went through the garage and took the stairs. It was on the 2nd floor. The staff was really friendly and security was fair. I like the set up of the venue. Very open and spacious. Lawn was well treated and cut. Not as big as Riverbend but the seats looked narrow. They had two sections where you can get drinks. The main section in the front is where they do both food and drinks. For food, I only saw that they served Larosas pizza. I thought drinks were expensive. For 24 Oz beer and two canned wines was for $43.00. Expected for all the venues we've been to. There was small section where they sold fan stuff/ T-Shirts (small tent).Doors opened at 6:30 pm however the show did not start until 8:40 pm. Not sure why. There was no opening act. The sound quality was really good though. Easy access to get to the bathrooms. You can't miss it. Overall, it was a good experience and we had a lot of fund. We are thinking of coming back in September to see Cake.

My lady and I scored some Lyle Lovett tickets here and we were stoked about checking the place out. I'd heard all good things overall so my expectations were a bit high. Did this place deliver? Mostly. Good venue overall and one I wouldn't mind revisiting for a future concert. My only gripes about it are the difficulty finding the stage and the overpriced libations. Though I really like that they have both an indoor and outdoor stage area.We went on a Friday evening and got there a little after the gates opened at 6:30pm. We, along with a group of other concert-goers, had a bit of a Spinal Tap moment (HELLO, CLEVELAND!!!) trying to find out how to get to the outdoor stage. After some twists and turns and general confusion, we found our way there. For an outdoor stage venue, it doesn't feel huge, and actually feels a bit intimate. It didn't look like there was a single bad seat in the house, even in the general admission lawn area. Though paying $43 for a beer and two canned wines seems a bit steep. Overall they had a decent drink selection and only had Larosa's pizza by the slice for a food option. Still, the acoustics here are very good, and we really enjoyed the show.I could see us coming back here again for the right concert. We did see Cake is coming in September so we may have to get some tickets for that. I might only get one beer though and save my money for a place after the show with better libations.

I went for the On The Rocks event but looks like a nice concert venue. Make sure your handbag is small. Check the website for all restrictions. The security guard was really nice so now my back was technically too large.

For those that missed the King Gizzard show: The crowd was like a hodgepodge of what I could only aptly describe as a mix of Nascar Hipster and Zoomers in free-love hippie cosplay. Smells of patchouli, burning firewood, locker room musk, Jack Herer and Super Skunk. The air was as hot and sticky as a Baptist church in Jackson, Mississippi after a night of rain followed by blistering sun. The venue was so oversold that bodies were stacked on top of bodies in one giant sweaty heap which stretched out nearly to the lone pathway leading to the general admission floor. Geese and King Gizzard both performed heavy sets with sounds evoking southern rock, grunge, blues, psychedelic funk and old school groove metal. The pit was intense but not in a violent way, but was more akin to an aggressive groove or as if they had been enchanted by a lustful demon. A wall of bodies formed on the outskirts of the floor littered with heat-stricken sacrificees like a MegaCorp skidrow. Attendees cooked over an open-fire to sell bottles of water for $6.50 and beer for $15. It was Woodstock in an oven without the nudity. The people watching was unparalleled sporting the most electric mix of hipster white men I've ever seen in the city.
