I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely gorgeous this place is! My Fiancée and I are looking for the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and although we tossed around some great options, we kept coming back to Meadowview Farm. I will let the photos speak for themselves but the owners and operators have truly turned this home/venue into something from a magazine. They allow you to truly make your wedding day all your own and their packages are decently priced and can even include big days like the Bridal Shower, and even Rehearsal Dinner can be on site. You definitely have to see this place in person! We scheduled an appointment with only one day notice which was shocking, Sarah was so kind and very professional as she took us around the inside and outside of the property and shared a little of this properties history with us. The only downfall is they are not permitted to do receptions due to some codes that were passed in the 1980s BUT they are in the process of trying to change this. If this gets passed we will look forward to holding everything at one location, otherwise we will likely just opt for a more intimate wedding without a reception because we just absolutely fell in love with this place!

There was a time I would have given this boarding facility 5 stars because the management at the time was great (was, as in, is no longer there). but the way I was treated when I left pushes it down to one star. I read my contract prior to giving my notice in its entirety and it stated I was to give 30 days notice "REGARDLESS" of my rental period. So I did. Mid month through mid month. I received an email back from the owners telling me that " I should pull my contract out and read it" ,that they will not prorate the last month to the 15 days because "my boa d is due monthly" and If I could not pay for the entire month of June, I could leave by end of May. Great. I was happy to leave earlier than planned anyway. And it's a good thing I was able to. I did read my contract however, before I gave my notice, and it did not state anything about no prorations in the cancellation section. The monthly reference in the contract was in the payment section and it said my board was due monthly on the first. Maybe they need to read their own contracts and be more professional. I was leaving to follow my trainer. A decision I made all on my own and was treated poorly because of it. In fact, the day I left, they even went as far as blocking me on their farms Facebook page. In addition to the above, the owners of this barn have zero horse knowledge (how to care for, handle, etc) which is actually scary and their caretakers who are no longer there were the only reason I stayed so long in the first place. The owners need to realize that this is what people do in the horse world. They follow their trainers. It's a shame because it's a beautiful facility but I would not recommend boarding there if you ever plan to leave, owners treat this extremely immaturely. I should also note that my review has been sugar coated.

It recently came to my attention that the current owners of this farm are attempting to market this location as an event and wedding venue. This farm sets on a hill and my property is about a quarter of a mile away. This is not a remote area and there are many neighbors close by. The previous owners of this farm had several events there and it was extremely disruptive, bothersome, and annoying to almost all of the neighbors around this property. This property is not properly zoned for an event venue and the previous owners were trying to circumvent the normal process to get the zoning changed. When the neighbors became aware of this there was a loud and vigorous outcry to the county planning and zoning commission and they very swiftly made the decision that they were no longer allowed to use the farm as an event center. I believe this occurred in either 2015 or 2016. Any attempt to again try to have the zoning changed will be vigorously objected to by the neighbors. I would strongly urge anyone who is considering using this farm for a wedding or event venue to do due diligence before making a decision.
