Completely forgot to get any food pictures!Not a very inviting inside but the pizza was excellent. Thin, crispy with just enough toppings. Personally feel the best part was the owner. So helpful and inviting. Went above and beyond to take care of our large party!

3 large hand tossed pizzas were terrible. Over cooked, dry and lack of sauce and cheese. Otherwise the thick crust pizza was good. Pick up was ready and went smoothly.

Location: 1469 S Market St. Troy OhioParking: plenty of parking in parking lotWebsite: https://mattyqs.com Reopening under new name (Trojan Horse was previous name), this is a nice choice for pizza, subs, wings, and sides.We chose a sampler of different items - a small pepperoni pizza, Italian sub, and French Fries.All were really good.There are 2 pizza styles... thin crust or Detroit style.We ordered thin crust and it is a nice consistency with a flavored buttery drizzle, but I would classify it as hand-tossed for thickness.Although compared to Detroit pan style, this is thin... The sandwich is served toasted and has quality ingredients and plentiful toppings. The bread is downright perfect - crispy exterior, chewy interior, and a light cornmeal base.The French fries are perfectly fried and lightly battered for a crisp texture.Impeccable and a great side for a sandwich.The service is good. Friendly and efficient.The servers pay close attention to where you sit for dine-in and after you place your order at the counter, they bring your order to your table.The only disappointment is they only serve Pepsi products. The food makes this a non-issue though!Tips:1. Try the pizza bombs. We did not order these and I'm suffering from FOMO. They appear to be mini calzones m, cone in several varieties and are 4 for $8.2. Eat-in. The food is excellent and if you are there - you can order more.

Great little lunch spot in Troy, Ohio. My family up north and I meet half way and just found this place which is under new management. Huge menu with lots of choices which helps with different palates and restrictions. They have TVs to watch sports and coloring books for kids. Service was a little slow but everything is made to order so food was fresh and hot! Very easy parking in big strip lot but is a little off the beaten path to get to.

Ok a 3 may be a bit harsh but I also believe a 4 would be too generous. Here's the down low:We ordered 3 pizzas tonight for our pool party. We had:A cheese pizza. Cheese, sauce and crust. Not sure why one would order such a pizza but there were those at the party that insisted. Go figure - they liked it. Pepperoni, mushroom and jalapeño. Sauce was eerily like LaRosas sauce. Mushrooms were good, jalapeños had some snap, crust was like a bought platter crust. Sorry but not interesting.Sausage, mushroom and jalapeño. Sausage was also pre-made in little balls and also not interesting.It's ok pizza for a beer party to cancel the hunger pains. But it's is not gourmet pizza.

My fiancé and I were looking for somewhere we've never had in the area and we found MattyQ's. The service we received was helpful and down to earth! I ordered a 6" Italian sub and loaded fries. My fiancé ordered jalapeño poppers and a Texas tenderloin. The food came out quickly, was hot, and delicious! We finished it off with some complimentary Italian water ice. It was light and refreshing. We enjoyed the small comfortability of the store itself. It was clean and had good seating. Would recommend and will go back again!

Excellent family run pizza place. Good place to get take out, watch game and eat pizza and has both drive thru and sit down area. Food is classic American pizzeria type and well done with unique dishes (the pumpkin twists are very addictive). So this would be solid pizzeria option for lazy weekends or busy weeknights.
