Visiting Marion's is like stepping back in time to a pizza parlor from the 80's. This location is at the southwest corner of Shroyer & Patterson. We drove past it the first time because the larger of the two entrances is actually on the back side. The inside of this location is massive, with three separate dining areas. They have 9" or 13" pizzas, along with a few sandwiches, salads, and pastas. We ordered take out and got a 9" deluxe, 9" pepperoni and banana pepper and cheesy garlic bread. I was intrigued to see they actually sell beer by the 6-pack, and various other beverages out of a convenience store style refrigerator. Oh, and they have draft beer -- $10 domestic pitchers at that! The pizza was good, it's thin crust like a typical Columbus style pizza (it's a thing, I swear!). The slices were very small, basically bite sized. That said, a single 9" pizza was good for two servings. We also tried the cheesy garlic bread, but weren't huge fans. It was pretty soggy and the cheese had somewhat of a plastic taste to it. Overall, we enjoyed the pizza and plan on trying Marion's again. I'd be interested in giving their sandwiches and pasta a try as well.

I hadn't been to the Shroyer Marion's in probably a good 20 years. Don't plan on going back after this salad!

A few weeks ago we ordered Marions pizza and it was absolutely terrible. Is was so greasy the entire board was grease and the Tops of the pizza were covered in grease. We called and the manager was great and made two new pizzas but these were the exact same unfortunately. They were inedible. We thought we would try again but unfortunately it was the same tonight. I don't know if it's a change in product or the stoves are greasy but it's not edible. These were coooked in the old oven and they not only taste different but are extremely greasy. I also let corporate know what happened and they were very kind as well but the issue has not been fixed. It tastes completely different and I wouldn't order until they fix the issue. We had to throw the pizzas away because they tasted that bad.

There is a Marion's fairly close to us in Mason, but I had heard that this one was better. I didn't see much difference. Great pizza, friendly service, but we'll probably still visit the one in Mason. They have a 25% off coupon in Reach magazine.

Got my fix with a big cheese. I really love the variety of pizza establishments we have in Dayton Ohio. Marion's pizza is always consistent.

Absolutely, the best pizza that you could buy I love going there. They have dark beer and light beer and all kinds of sodas there pizzas are much better than Cassano's since Cano's moved to the new place. I don't know their pieces just don't taste the same so back to Marion I go.

Marion's is incredibly consistent. One bad pizza in 40 years. Called and got a coupon for a free pizza. My wife really enjoys their pizza. Their vegetable is weird. Should be called olive pizza. Their toppings are generously applied. Their pizza is good, not great, not memorable. Great atmosphere and seating for parties. They promote the Local Flavors app having a placard on their tables. I downloaded the app, and then request the 25% coupon. No limits. No need to print. They send it to your phone. The employees scan it. I eat there to accommodate my wife.I still would recommend it.

Easy enough to duplicate this pizza at home. Here's the recipe:Take an old cardboard box and cut out a pizza-sized circle.Slather the cheapest, nastiest tomato paste (NOT sauce) on the cardboard.Sprinkle sawdust mixed with cheap mozzarella over the tomato paste.Bake in oven until burnt, or almost burnt.Cut into little squares.Serve to your guests and/or family, and make sure you're really rude while you do it.Give each guest one, and only one, tiny napkin.Viola!
