Finding a place my wife would like for Mother's Day is difficult, but Manor House's Mother's Day brunch filled the bill. Anywhere with an omelette station will get my attention. The omelette station here was top notch. They had poached eggs next to it that looked like extra large egg McMuffins. They test better. The tenderloin was awesome. The ham was excellent. Adding dessert, and the ability of our out of town son to attend (with his significant other) made my lady the happiest she could be. With a little dessert, the starches made me sleepy, so some of the best coffee I have had in a long time was available. Goodbye Starbucks. Goodnight Dunkin. No match to McCafe for the Manor House coffee.I will do my best to come back next year (if it doesn't sell out before I get a reservation). I love this.

First update: I went to a wedding show and was excited to see that Allison was there representing the Manor House. I stopped to say hello and ask a few questions I had forgotten to ask earlier and Allison REMEMBERED MY NAME!!! I was blown away. I'm sure she spoke with so many people that day alone and she remembered my name from months ago. This is service!

I attended my first wedding at the Manor House this past weekend, and I was impressed! The wedding was located at the back of the manor house outside. It was a small garden venue that could be covered if there were rain. The outside venue easily set about 100 people, but you could easily expand that to cover around 175 or even 200 if you needed to. I loved that the outdoor venue had the opportunity to be covered in case it were to rain. My friend's invitation said 'outside venue rain or shine'-- and she was right! The outdoor venue was attached to the banquet hall, so you could easily go inside and outside. Inside, each table had beautiful long table cloths and gold silverware. What a great touch! There was also a large dancing floor, and a bar at the back of the room. When I talked to the girl who planned her wedding here, she told me that the meal was included as part of her contract with the facility. Honestly, the food was really great! We had the choice between chicken and pasta. We had to pick our dinner selection before the wedding, and our selection was next to our names on the table when we arrived.Overall, I was very impressed! My friend paid special attention to the details in the wedding which made the ceremonies seem very special and unique, and the manor house was a great facility that set the tone for the wedding. Everything was nice and clean and taken care of. There was a wedding director, as well as a bar and wait staff. If you are in the Mason area and looking for a venue to hold your next reception or party, check out the Manor House!

We chose The Manor House for our winter wedding based on location, price, and space availability. What we received was an elegant wedding, great food, professional staff, and an unforgettable experience. Despite dealing with COVID restrictions, The Manor House was able to deliver a high quality event and made navigating a pandemic wedding as comfortable as possible. Venue staff put our needs first, and they were extremely attentive and flexible.Shannon was our venue contact. She was absolutely delightful to work with. Shannon was responsive, polite, and assisted greatly as an industry liaison. She was certainly a major contributor to the success of the event. We had several unanticipated changes the day before the wedding. The Manor House worked with us to create an outcome better than previously planned. We believe this showcases the venue's ability to pivot quickly while providing quality service.

My wife and son set up an appointment there for a rehearsal Dinner date in December Of 2018 and we put 500 down, 30 days later we lost both of her parents, so we called to try to get the five hundred back so we could bury both of them, the date we put the five hundred down was in july 2019, plenty of time for the manor house to replace that date, they couldn't return that 500, Great company, works great for families. I guess you needed the money more than we did. We gave them one star so we could enter the experience.

Gorgeous Venue for Wedding Reception! I am a local wedding photographer, so I am at more venues than most. I did my first reception at The Manor House in September 2009 - and was just blown away by how beautiful this venue is! We did photos everywhere - the ones at the gazebo in back with the little creek and landscaping were just gorgeous. And the ring/flower photos on the black piano. The interior of the Manor House is so elegant - really, there isn't any part of this venue that isn't beautiful. Although I didn't get to try the food (way too busy!) - it certainly looked and smelled delicious! And the service was phenomenal - very professional, efficient, attentive, etc. [The only reason I didn't give this venue five stars is because I didn't get to try the food - I'm sure it's delicious and would probably make me change my rating to five stars. Maybe I'll get back there soon and can change my rating!] In summary - I would definitely recommend The Manor House to couples looking for a beautiful, unique reception venue. It has a lot to offer, they do a fabulous jobs, and your photos will be gorgeous!!

We were supposed to get married here later this year. Because of COVID-19 we will have to reschedule. They asked us to pay the entire money due for our 2020 wedding plus $1500 as a change fee, within two weeks. If we couldn't, then they would keep our deposit ($3000). Many things that go into rescheduling a wedding date remain unpredictable for us. So even though we were willing to pay more money, we requested for more time, especially since we won't be getting married until 2021. They refused. So because we cannot give them $13500 within a few weeks they will pocket $3000, without doing a thing! Just as their business was not responsible for the pandemic, neither were we. Just as it has affected their bottomline, COVID-19 has directly affected our finances, our job security, our families, and our health. Yet somehow, we alone must pay for it. They will probably reuse the Saturday our wedding was scheduled for to make even more money from someone else, now that they have to compress two wedding seasons into one.I expect that they will delete their business listing on Yelp to get rid of negative reviews. I hope other reviewers here consider posting on Google, Wedding Wire, Facebook, and The Knot since they have thousands of reviews there and are less likely to just delete their listing.

NEVER BOOK AT THIS PLACE. They have showed no compassion or given any flexibility during a PANDEMIC. The state has implemented mandatory guidelines for large events yet this establishment wants to charge me for rescheduling. They have no consideration for their customers, and more importantly the health and well-being of the people they are supposed to be serving.

This place is beautiful and it looks to be a perfect venue for a wedding and reception. When COVID-19 hit and our world was changed by illness and a death in our family, they showed zero compassion and refused to refund any of our $10,000 and only offered to reschedule which we do not want to do. Not sure how Janet Nelson sleeps at night. Splitting our money or even refunding all but an initial deposit would have been much better than what they did. Our money provided them cash flow during closure while they also received government money. She's back open for business now,...how about a return on our money? Yes we signed a contract that said "deposits are non-refundable", but that was before a pandemic hit. Do the right thing, Janet.
