My husband and I stopped here on a recent road trip. The bartender, Wilson, was so friendly and welcoming. We quickly found out he was also a brewer. He recommended a few beers, and we chose an Irish red and IPA. Both were tasty. The food was fantastic too. We shared a double cheeseburger with fries. This was such a delightful stop! I'm definitely looking forward to our next road trip through the area!

During a road trip we stopped and tried a few of their beers. We were greeted by the bartender, who happened to also be the head brewer. He was very friendly and recommended several beers to try. The beers were a very good Irish red and equally tasty IPA. I was definitely impressed with the quality of beer, friendly staff and excellent food. I will definitely make this a routine stop on my next trip through.

I am especially excited about this brew house because they offer such creative concoctions. I discovered coffee, cocoa, spice and sour notes, to name a few. I'm always pleased to locate beers aged in local beer barrels which impart deliciously smooth and subtle flavors.Alex, Austin and Jamie founded this micro brewery in 2016 at 123 East Pike Street. They believed hard work, thoughtful recipes and passionate support for the community would be the keys to a successful brewing experience. In my opinion, they've hit the nail on the head. I was amazed to meet patrons from all over Kentucky. These included a customer from Louisville who remarked, "They have something for everyone." I would have to agree!Bonus!!- They're coming to Paris, KY as well!

LOVE! Maiden City Brewing is just what Cynthiana needed. Part brewery, part bar, part awesome hangout spot, all fantastic. Located right in the middle of Pike Street, not too far from Rohs, Maiden City just finished their strong, first year of business a few days ago. The interior is a rustic, industrial vibe that suits the atmosphere very well. There's a large bar that you can sit at, or several tables of varying heights where you can sit to eat or set down your drinks as you chat or watch the game on the large television. The beer offerings are consistently changing, and has been different each time I come in here. In addition to different beers (mostly from Kentucky), they also make and serve their own in-house! You can sometimes watch them make the beer inside the front window when walking by or having a drink inside. I always find something I love, even with the rotations (I tend to get a taste size...or three... before ordering a full pour). Prices vary based on what you drink.Maiden City does not serve food, but often have food trucks. You are also welcome to order food elsewhere (like the pizza place down the street) and have it delivered or bring it in. On Thursday nights, they have trivia! Throughout the year, they also host a myriad of events, including live music on the weekends. Their Facebook page is consistently updated with this information. They are also tolerant towards kids, which is good to know if you want to go out for a drink and can't find a babysitter. This may have been the case for us a few times!Cheers.

For a city the size of Cynthiana, Maiden City is a good addition. They typically have some sort of food truck and/or live music to enjoy. While their beer selection was good, we visited in March and they still had Halloween and Christmas seasonals on tap. Their cider choice was actually really good while the beers were just ok. I would give them another shot with some fresher choices but recommend that they make adjustments to the amount of seasonals they brew.
