I tried Magic Wok for the first time on a recent trip to Cincinnati and would order from here again if I was in the mood for Chinese.I had the Hong Shu Tofu spice level 9 which wasn't spicy to me at all. There were about 5 large triangles of tofu with a mixture of cabbage, mushrooms, carrots and snow peas in a brown sauce that had a sweet and salty flavor to it. The sauce was tasty, but nothing that was unique or different from what I've tried at other restaurants in different dishes.The beef fried rice was good, beef was tender, rice was flavorful and came mixed with fresh bean sprouts which was a first for me, but I love vegetables so no complaints from me.The lady at the counter was friendly, and my pick up order was ready when I walked in the door. If I'm in Cincinnati again, I'll look to try some other dishes from Magic Wok if I'm hungry for Chinese food.

What a great experience! The first person who greeted me was named Mary and she was so attentive and friendly. She was very efficient at taking my order and making me feel welcome and I really enjoyed her sincerity and our conversation. I placed an order to go and I was extremely pleased with the quality, flavor, presentation, price, and packaging.Everything was cooked perfectly and the ratio of protein and vegetable in the Szechuan chicken was perfect and the texture of the vegetables was just right and the chicken was tender and delicious. The orange chicken was terrific and it was white meat with light breading and they let me choose the level of heat between one and 10. The eggrolls were fantastic! Hot and sour soup was delicious as well!On top of that, the price was unbeatable and it took less than 15 minutes to cook and package and pay for. I will definitely be back!

Took a break from work and decided on magic walk for dinner. So I ordered the Kung pow chicken and an egg roll. Now I am a major fan of anything Kong pow but I like it hot. Good and spicy.Was not disappointed! Kong pow chicken was good and hot I ordered it at level eight. Left a good burn in my mouth like it supposed to. Eggroll was delicious with duck sauce! And the fortune cookie was the cherry on top!The peanuts were so fresh and magical. The bell peppers took me to a special place in that heat from the spice was everything Kong pow should be!The fried rice was out of this world.

**CARRYOUT REVIEW** first time ordering from here ! 15 minute quote time and I arrived right around then and the food was ready. No one was seated in the restaurant- it's a pretty large space too! And cutely decorated in the entry area. It was sad to see so quiet! The cute little lady at the front was so sweet and She thanked me for my business. Now. The. Food. I ordered the sesame chicken dinner and my boyfriend ordered the general tsos chicken dinner. Each of our meals came with 4 broccoli pieces. Now, I LOVE veggies so I was disappointed it didn't have more like other Chinese restaurants. They used both a mix of plastic and styrofoam containers, less rice than usual was given, but the chicken came with a whole bowl of sauce basically. (Nice to have more than not enough I suppose) but the portions were odd compared to your typical Chinese carryout containers which I do like! we also got 2 egg rolls. The egg rolls were delicious and came with a HOLY MOLY HORSERADISH MUSTARD. This will clear your sinuses! Unique to the restaurant! I liked this place, but was not impressed. Again, carryout is always different than dine in experience! But it's an average spot. And they did not include plasticware or napkins- side note to remember to ask!

I seriously do not leave a review......hardly ever. To say I'm disappointed would be a major understatement. I just hope to save somebody the time and money as I wish I would of read the reviews prior to ordering. For starters, zero flavor, and seems to be the general consensus. I'm not from the area, so I was taking a chance anyways...I truly wouldn't want to harm anyone's livelihood.i just hope they take heed and fix the issue. Until then, the portions are very small and they are over priced..........to top it all off, my fortune cookie was empty. .....come on, Cincinnati . You can do better

I'm sorry but I have never been so disappointed. We ordered Bourbon Chicken. I have never seen bourbon chicken so saucy and sticky and thick. And legit 5 pieces of broccoli. Do NOT order here unless you just want the fried foods. The egg rolls were okay.

ordered the beef and broccoli as well as the vegetable egg roll. got about half way through my food when i discovered this little guy in it. called to speak about it and was offered a credit for next time or for them to remake it. had to ask a few times to get the money refunded before they actually did. pretty disappointed.

The food was overpriced for the poor quality and small quantity. "Fried rice" looked like white rice was tossed with a little soy sauce, still mostly white. Both entrees we order were bland. At other restaurants, two entrees usually feeds the two of us 2-3 times, this would not have had left overs if we'd cleared our plates.
