Great new open space that is family friendly! The set up is seat yourself, then full table service. Love the play areas for kids (a whole camper, play firepit plush area), and cornhole giant connect 4 in an open auditorium area. Looks like they are set up to do private events as well, which would be fun. The fried food is great--brunch menu of goetta burger, frittata was yummy, and I love the hash brown balls. There's a parks friendly vibe (paper boxes, non plastic straws, Ron Swanson funko-pop hidden in the giant tree in the bar), and I can't wait until the outdoor area gets finished! Love how blue ash and summit park are developing more.

The Good: The place is cool, trendy, great atmosphere. The Bad: There are kids and toddlers everywhere. We felt like we were at Chuck E Cheese. Summary: decent place for a quick Happy Hour after work, but too many families and children running around to take business associates or have a professional gathering.

Interesting concept. I guess this location is newly opened. When we arrived, we were greeted and she explained the process. It is open seating and tables are full service. We found a table quickly and were greeted with menus quickly. You open a tab to start. The location is very open with a game room, bar and event space. Lots of kids playing in the game room. Looked like there were board games you could take to the tables. Lots of young families and it was very busy for a Sunday in between lunch and dinner. I ordered the wedge salad and wings in garlic Parmesan. My husband ordered the cowboy breakfast. The wedge salad was a big chunk of iceberg with a little drizzle of ranch. With that big of a wedge, it needed a lot more dressing The wings looked great but the flavor was off. Like the garlic was bitter. You can tell they thought out the presentation with 4 drums and 4 flappers. Maybe a different sauce would help. My husband's cowboy breakfast was a disappointment. He ordered his steak medium and it was well done. Eggs were ordered scrambled softly but came out like a folded, flat pile. The hash brown balls were good with a little cheese and a hint of herbs. Service was on and off. I think we had 3-4 people "wait" on us. One got our drink order, one got our food order, one delivered food and another came by a couple times. Refills on our drinks were hard to get. Eventually, my husband went to the bar and got them. About 10 minutes later, one of the wait staff (I think our actual server) remembered and brought them. Hopefully these items can be worked out over time. There were a lot of nachos and pizzas coming out of the kitchen, so that might be good to try.

This place has made its mark in Summit park . Its bar food , nothing fancy and family friendly . Plenty of tvs and fire pits to fit your fancy . The staff keeps up with you as good as they can since it's first come first serve . I enjoyed the music playing and seeing ppl have a great time . They will have a window walk up with Outdoor drinking . This is a win for blue ash !

Great new place to check out! Large and inviting space, fun for the family or a date night. Offers a great selection of food and of course drinks. They even have brunch. I like how open it is, there is a room for corn hole and games. Can't wait for warmer weather to take advantage of the large outdoor seating area. Seen as it's brand new and everyone wanted to check it out, we did have a hard time finding a table, but other than that we had a great experience.

we went opening weekend and it was packed so took a long time but understood because they had just opened! we started with the fried pickles and they were SO GOOD. i will literally get them every time i go! so crunchy and perfectly fried! the ranch was also amazing! 10/10. for my meal i got the beet and quinoa salad and it was alright. honestly a little spicy for my preference. 7/10. we also got the caprese canyon pizza and it was pretty good! by the time it got to us it was a little cold which is a little bit of a bummer. 7/10. i am excited to try this place and give a better review once the craziness calms down!

So this particular Madtree location opened a few days ago. I will give you the good, bad and ugly! First off, I love Madtree with the exception of their new in-house food. I'm truly not a fan and have tried both here and their original location. I loved their previous food. This location has a great variety of options and I'm sure will stay packed when it warms up. Their staff is always super friendly. They unfortunately have decreased their beer options after COVID. Today in this particular visit, they had a couple things on the digital menu that was not available so why not easily remove it? Very aggravating. Then I selected to get the wings and come to find out, NO BLEU CHEESE. What? What food establishment serves wings without Bleu Cheese? Blasphemy! Secondly, I always insure to order wings well done and crispy knowing many food places deep fry frozen wings so if they are large, there is a chance they don't get fully cooked as was the case here. I took one bit of one of the last ones and I don't like red, bloody chicken. I tried three different beers because they didn't have the beer I wanted listed on the menu. Overall it was good and I enjoyed the visits. They would have gotten four stars if it wasn't for that wing that appeared to be undercooked. I had pictures but didn't choose to post. Jess (the bar tender) was phenomenal and I'm very glad I sat at the bar! She had great positive energy and I watched her stay active and treat all customers with respect. I was aggravated when she was reprimanded for taking a guests order at the counter because they were in the service line. To me service is service and if there are seats open and someone steps up to order a beer to take back to their table, why should they have to go and get in line now. Jess handled it with Grace and professionalism but Mad Tree Management, let's do better! Mad Tree is a great place to visit so give them a try! I will be back!!

The service was rough as they were totally unprepared for a holiday crowd. We met up with friends who said the service was slow so we tried to order a beer at the bar when we didn't get waited on for a while and were told to wait for our server to take the order instead. We were there 40 minutes and never got a chance to get a beer before needing to leave. Maybe we will be back but they need a while to figure it out.
