Lots of taps. Great beers.
Nice bourbon selection too. I like that they sell short pours (0.75oz) for half price.

Lots of beers to choose from! Best thing is you can choose from 3 sizes! So you can try several different kinds without going broke or getting tanked. Bartenders are the best and i love the new lighting they've added.

My turtle children are so proud to have a human bar that shares their affinity for the bony-backed species. The Turtle hides all cozy in its shell just behind Brentwood Spirits. The parking lot is a bit cramped even when the bar isn't packed, so if you can swim on over here by other means, please do.The Lucky Turtle is a full bar with plentiful wine and beer selections including great local beers from Rhingeist, Madtree and more; as well as delicious Empanadas from Empanadas Aqui!Looking for something a little different? Ask the bartender to "shake your juice" and wrap your flippers around a delicious juice/milkshake beer/liquor blend concoction. Just last night, the Turtle's mixologist played mad scientist and prepared a beautifully balanced pineapple IPA concoction that really had my tail thumping. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very deliberate. Check out their website for events and specials that seem to occur just about every night of the week, so gather up your clutch for a good time at the Lucky Turtle!

I hate using the phrase "hidden gem" because it's such a cliché, but it's the only way to describe the Lucky Turtle! This speakeasy is hidden behind a liquor store and an Arby's in Finneytown, and it is one of the chillest beer and bourbon bars in Cincinnati. They have an amazing draft list (23 beers on tap, many of them local and seasonal!), 60+ bourbons, and many more beers in bottles/cans. I was there on 4/20 (lol) and they had the Wanna Get Rye red IPA with CBD from 50 West, plus cool drink specials like the Stone + NOFX Punk in Drublic can for $3. If you're looking for rare/unique beers and friendly, knowledgeable bartenders, this is your place. The inside is no frills. They have a few games, darts, and a small outdoor space with corn hole. But this place is more about the drinks than it is about the decor, and I appreciate that.

I love places like this, little hidden gems with excellent beer choices, and the Lucky Turtle was no exception. If we hadn't been led there by semi-regulars, we would have never known it was there. Pretty cool vibe inside and a small outdoor area, something for everyone. The staff was very friendly as well. Minus one star, as we visited during the COVID pandemic and not one person on the staff had a mask on. When we asked if the bartender could please wear one as she waited on us, she told us she didn't have to. That's not what the regualtions say, and is pretty irresponsible (especially when they are using real glasses to serve in). We'll visit again, but probably not until after the pandemic, too risky.

This place sucks. It's like a hipster Northside gig. The bartender didn't even act like he wanted to serve us. Which judging by his hockey jersey he didn't want to be there anywhere. I would recommend going some place that accepts the non hipster lifestyle cause if you don't fit that profile you might wait to get served. And they don't serve food unless you like it out of a crock poor

Lucky Turtle is a cool little bar that hides behind an unassuming strip mall area. Come here if you want to try some beer that you won't find anywhere else. Feel free to sample beer before you order your 4, 8, or 16 oz beer. If you are feeling extra thirsty simply get yourself a growler full. All the beers are numbered so if you've had one to many all you have to do is remember your favorite number. The LT is a laid back and friendly place. They have arcade games, board games, bags, and complimentary popcorn. There are a few TVs to watch the game and have a beer at the bar. Most patrons enjoy their beer at the bar, but there are also a few short tables for people to have a seat at.Go to Lucky Turtle for a no frills good beer drinking experience with the neighborhood gang.

It's hard to believe a place like this exists so close to where I grew up. Then again, that is a true testament to the beer culture in Cincinnati.I recently went to Lucky Turtle for the first time, where I tried a Partner Ships #1 by Heavy Seas (a Red IPA). The beer itself was just okay, but I was happy to see such an expansive selection. The space itself was nothing to write home about, but the beer list was impressive enough. If there are a handful of beers to choose from that would be a Distinct Check-in on Untappd, I'm a happy patron.I'm unfortunately not in Finneytown much these days, but am looking forward to my next visit to (and unique check-in at) Lucky Turtle.

As far as I know, From February 11 on, This bar is closed permanently. A friend worked there, and when I stopped in, the door was locked. Nobody was in there, and the music was off. I was informed that they shut it down. Figures though. A joint from across the street that had to move for chik filet, moved into the old head shop right next to the liquor store. Not sure how the township allowed 3 liquor licenses within 50 yards of each other, but, they did. No sense in the three bars fighting for parking spaces. Now, two bars are fighting for parking spaces. And parking can get pretty tight up in them bitches. If you go, be prepared to park over in the mexican restaurants area, and walking over. There are two bars now. One in the old head shop. And one behind the old ATT store.
