Lucky Dragon is the only place in Yellow Springs to get Chinese. It doesn't have to worry about competition. The food can still be good. It's a nice family owned business. They do mostly takeout but you can eat inside. I had the tofu and vegetables for carryout. It's about $7 for the regular portion. This came with a good variety of vegetables. It was seasoned and didn't taste overwhelmingly of salt. There's Chinese restaurants that seem to just put MSG and then some vegetables in a container and give it to you. It wasn't the best Chinese by far but still tasted fresh. There are also some more authentic specials. In addition to fortune cookies you also get a roll calendar. This is nice for something that's free. It's the only Chinese in town. If you want Chinese this is the only option for about 10 miles. The menu is pretty typical.

Place is okay or bad , but I get it every so often. But tonight they gave me the wrong order and refused to fix it?Eventually offering me to re-buy the order at 25% off. Note I already tipped them on my to go order and she threw a fit about it seeming stressed before offering me that, no attitude on my part, just trying to get my order . Would of settled for what they gave me if it was close to what I ordered, but just declined and took the loss, but definitely more worth a longer drive next time I crave Chinese.

Lucky Dragon seems very out of place. In a town like Yellow Springs with its artsy, colorful feel this restaurant just seems to miss the mark. My partner and I were here on Saturday evening and we were literally the only customers in the entire restaurant when every other spot in town is packed. I get that they do a lot of Take Out orders but it seemed sad and depressed. The food was fresh but very old school Chinese and boring. Much like the overall feel of the restaurant, the food was just plain and boring. I don't think that we'll be returning.

I would not recommend this restaurant based on food, service, or atmosphere. Waitress had no personality. I ordered chicken and broccoli combo with fried rice. First, the amount of food does not match the price. Secondly, my food was so salty that it was not edible. I will not be going back to this restaurant.

I would rate well not as well as it used to be before it sold out a couple of years ago; and there for a many years once it was sold they were charging more money than their menus stated the prices were. However the newer family with the lady - I am thinking may be one of the owners she is extremely difficult to deal with - always ask for a receipt! ALWAYS! Take my word on this! There were many times over this past year that I have had to get change back after she had charged my credit card a higher price since their menus didn't state the higher cost! Corrupt & mean at times! Now with the newer menus & higher prices I won't have to worry about being overcharged anymore!

Not impressed. Go figure. Service was on the slow side, all the food looks super unimpressive and tastes the same. What makes this place even worse? I found a piece of PLASTIC in my spring roll! Almost $20 for one entree and two sides?Nope. I won't be returning.

Ate here because Ha Ha was too busy. Sorry we did. Food was overly salty, meager, and wife's chicken was "slimy." Her chicken and (a few) snow peas tasted just like my shrimp and General Tso. Wife is hoping I don't get sick. I feel the same about her chances. Avoid, avoid.Need to add--waitress/owner was yelling in the phone the whole time we were there. Not a pleasant atmosphere.

Do Not Go Here! Food tastes like it came straight from the freezer and just warmed up. Food was still cold in the center on 1 meal and others tasted off. When brought to their attention, we were yelled at in their language and only offered 10% discount on the cold meal. $72 for unedible food (4 meals).... So many other food options in Yellow Springs so I would suggest avoiding this one!

So not good. Lo mein was so bad we only ate a couple of bites. Everything had a funky flavor to it. Egg rolls were definitely frozen and so small. Just not worth it. Don't go.
