I would'nt recommend supporting this establishment. They very recently had a Covid-19 Outbreak. When they found out about the first person that got it they didn't tell the others. So it spread to a lot of the other people that are involved. It's really pathetic that someone made this decision to put other peoples lives at risk. They didn't follow CDC guidlines or have the building professionally cleaned.

I did not know this place existed until today when I saw some cast members on TV promoting the show Memphis the Musical. I really enjoy theater so I decided to go see the play. The theater itself is cozy and intimate. It probably fits about 150 people and on this Sunday afternoon it was almost completely full. The seats are comfortable with plenty of leg space, although there are no armrests. There's no food or drinks and there's not much room to mingle outside of the theater itself. You enter into a small room where you buy the ticket and you go on to your seats. There's parking around the building but most of them had a limit of maximum 2 hours. I didn't know how long the play was, so I parked there but the show ended up being over 2&1/2 hours! It was Sunday late afternoon so I didn't get in trouble, but I'd recommend getting there earlier to figure out the parking situation.Depending on your expectations from a theater you can have a really good time here. I see shows at Aronoff and Playhouse in the Park occasionally. This place is not a fancy place like those locations, but you also only pay $20. For me it's about the play and the experience mostly. The play itself, Memphis the Musical, was also great. I laughed, I cried and I learned a lot. The cast is not necessarily professional actors, but the people who played the main roles were fantastic with a great voice. Again, it was not fancy acting, but I enjoyed it because for me it was about the story and it was about how much hard work the cast had put into it. Overall very happy that I happened to see their promotion on TV!

How can there be no reviews of LSC yet? Hard to believe this gem has gone undiscovered. We went out for the time-tested "dinner and a show" a few weeks ago. As I was researching what show we'd see, I came across LSC and their production of "Thoroughly Modern Mille". Hmmmmm - that's a fun show with good music and a dash of comedy being put on mere blocks from where we're having dinner and seats are just $15. Sounds good to me.There isn't a bad seat in the house here. I estimate their capacity at about 200. There's a small "orchestra" - let's say 12 people or so - that sits down in front and performs quite well. I noticed a few multi-instrumentalists down there, swapping horns and whatnot. They did great and seemed to be having a good time. The production itself was well done. The actors, for the most part, were enthusiastic and did a fabulous job. Some of the numbers in this show are a bit, um, manic - fast, syncopated lyrics, counterpoint vocal lines, etc. They pulled 'em off and really seemed to relish the accomplishment, too. It's easy to enjoy a show when the people in it are obviously having so much fun. I said "for the most part" earlier because there were a few gentlemen in the show that seemed to fall pretty firmly in to the "we need more men up there so just try to follow along and don't get in the way" category. That's the thing about LSC - they're all volunteers who do it (presumably) for the love of theatre. My wife and I love that about this place, but you might not, because it definitely contributed somewhat unprofessional and disorganized elements to parts of the show. Again, that's part of the charm and authenticity of the performance, and the experience overall. Tickets are just $15, too, so you can't set your sights too high. That said, we had a terrific time and will be back.

Loveland is a small town, but it's near a big city, and they pull some awesome talent from all over the area. The first time I attended one of their performances, I was VERY pleased at the quality of the performers. If you're looking for a great evening out, have dinner at any of four good restaurants in "downtown" Loveland, and walk over to the theater (within two blocks) and sit yourself down for a wonderful evening of entertainment. The stage company is only one of many fun things to do in Loveland, located on the northeast side of Cincinnati.
