We started in Milford and road to Loveland. Rented bikes at Bishops right on the bike trail in Milford. Great ride, smooth path and lots of shady spots. In Loveland, we got lunch at a fish taco truck (two cod tacos and one rice bowl with salmon - delicious!). Then road back. Awesome way to spend a day!We were riding on a Tuesday afternoon - there were others in the trail but not too many.

Flat, paved, striped, shaded. Interesting stops. Check for temporary closures past King's Mill.

This bike trail is perfect. It's a wide, paved path and through downtown Loveland is a great stop. Lots to do nearby, including restaurants, drinks, ice cream, and shaved ice. Great stop! There's a park and playground for kids and bike racks all around. Car traffic can get a bit heavy but it's a two lane road so it never is too bad.

Since the pandemic, new bikers and experienced cyclists have been sharing the Loveland Bike Trail. It's quite popular and very important that you read the signs and follow the rules of the road. You should stay to the right and as you approach to pass, make sure you tell those ahead of you, "On your right". You should make them aware of your presence in a calm and confident fashion. It's best to ride single file when the trail is busy and stay alert. If you park in Loveland and ride south, you will have to cross some busy roads. The School House Restaurant is a great place to stop. After the Avoca Trailhead you can admire the Little Miami from several benches. Before the "bat cave" tunnel, you can follow the Erie Trail signs but you will have to share the road with cars to get to downtown Cincinnati. If you stay on the bike trail and go across the Little Miami bridge at Bass Island you will see 50West. It's a great diversion and they offer burgers and fries after 3pm. Further down in Newtown you will find the Urban Grill. If you travel to the Levee and the ramps at OH route 32, you can wander your way toward the Ohio River and eat at Eli's.Going north out of Loveland, there are attractions such as the Butterworth Farm and The Monkey Bar & Grill. You can camp at Avoca or further up at Morgan's Canoe. Call ahead to make sure site are open and available. Enjoy!

A lovely bike trail that's safe and easy for all biking levels. The trail is flat and shaded a majority of the way, even though we started at noon in the summer, we still had a fantastic ride. The entire trail is 70 miles long with connections to 100 miles. I recommend starting at Loveland, a cute little town with plenty of restaurants, bike rentals, a park and parking. You can either go north towards South Lebannon or south to Milford and other small towns a long the way. Most people said it's prettier towards the North but my husband said they are pretty similar (I only made it to Milford). We rode along the river for a big part of it, went through some small towns and met a lot of friendly cyclists a long the way.If you don't have a bike, Loveland Bike Rental is conveniently right by the trail. Once you are done biking, grab a cold one at one of the restaurants right on the trail and count yourself lucky for having access to such a perfect ride.

Family friendly area with clear, well maintained trail. Ride your bike, take a stroll, go to the playground or grab a bite/treat at 1 of the several options. I've been visiting for 2 decades and it only gets better.

This was part of the reason I moved to Loveland! I love rollerblading and this part of the trail is super smooth to blade on. The local breweries are a plus when done blading as well

I love this trail! It is a paved path that runs pretty much from Cincinnati all the way to Dayton. I usually hop on the trail downtown Loveland which is the perfect spot to safely parked my car and began my journey. The trail is mostly covered by trees, so in the summer it is definitely shady. I always keep my self phone close at hand, but I have never felt unsafe while running or biking on this trail. If you were looking for something to do after your run or bike ride, make sure to check out the great shops downtown Loveland. There's a great pizza place, a bar and Grill, and even a sweet shop. If you are looking to just chill under some umbrellas after working out, there is a place for that too!I definitely recommend this trail for anyone, including families and those who love to be outside.

Such an incredibly beautiful place to go for a walk. I have been coming here recently with my significant other and every time we come here we have a wonderful time. I normally park where Google Maps has the location to be and there is always plenty of parking. Next to the parking lot there is a lovely playground (can't use it currently because of CDC restrictions) and plenty of picnic tables. The bike trail goes throughout the city of Loveland with many restaurants, shops and bars on the trail. This place is great for jogging, biking or just going for a nice walk to get outside. There is such diverse scenery throughout the trail with beautiful greenery and a river that is parallel to the trail. The actual trail is well-paved and free of anything that will cause you to twist an ankle or fall off your bike. Be sure not to go off the trail though, there is a lot of private property next to the trail and you don't want to trespass.
