The shrimp were cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. But the real star of the show was the sauce. Spicy, smoky, and packed with a deep richness, it hit every note I was hoping for. The heat level was on point--not overwhelming, but definitely enough to give you a kick. The sauce had layers of flavor that lingered, with a slight tanginess that balanced the heat just right.It was served with a side of rice that perfectly soaked up the sauce, adding a bit of neutrality to balance the spice, and a small salad to round out the dish. The portion size was generous, and the shrimp-to-sauce ratio was absolutely ideal--each bite was packed with flavor.What impressed me most was the overall energy of the restaurant. The staff was friendly, quick to offer recommendations, and genuinely seemed passionate about the food they were serving. The décor added to the lively vibe, with bright colors and quirky touches that set the tone for a fun, casual dining experience.If you're a fan of bold, flavorful Mexican dishes, Loco is a must-try. The Camarones a la Diabla alone is enough to make me want to return, but I'm definitely curious to explore more of their menu next time. National Margarita Day Visit!We stopped by just for margaritas to celebrate National Margarita Day. Their special was a dragon fruit margarita, and it was really good! That said, I was a little disappointed there wasn't a better special for the occasion.Aside from that, the service was great, and I LOVED the salsa. Looking forward to coming back to try the food next time!

Loved this Cantina! Quick service, nice lively environment and the price was excellent for large portions of well presented food. Staff was attentive. We had burritos , tacos and queso dip all excellent. Not only did we feel full w head some left overs that tasted good the next day. Only negative was a strong sewage smell in bathroom.

My hubby and I hit this place up since we made it to a show nearby an hour early. It was a nice change of pace from traditional Mexican restaurants. It was modern style with cute decor. We were seated quickly and the server came to us quickly. They were moderately busy so that was nice. The server was kind and efficient. Nothing over the top which I enjoy. I got a quesadilla with ground beef. SO GOOD. It was more of a giant taco though, but it was good regardless. The rice could've used a little more seasoning, but it wasn't bad. Other than that, everything was awesome. Definitely coming back for more

Did you know Mexican is my favorite? Oh yes.And this is the second 5 star that's going to a local Mexican spot. Delicious. $65 got us complimentary chips and salsa (amazing), a pitcher of margarita (strong), and each a plate of enchiladas (passing out just thinking about them).Worth the cruise to Fountain Square!

This has become my go-to spot in the last six months. I've given other Mexican restaurants in the area a try but end up disappointed by their selections or quality and taste compared to the what I've gotten at Loco. Service is always friendly and quick!

Loco is my favorite spot whenever I'm dining downtown, and on my recent visit to their Prospect location, it didn't disappoint. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and the steak was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The spicy tomatillo sauce was the perfect complement to the tacos--absolutely delicious!

Love this local spot so much! The service is ALWAYS wonderful and friendly. Chips are served warm and the salsa is good. The salsa is perhaps a bit thin but does taste great. With this most recent visit, I tried the margarita flight. Really nice and I was impressed with the spicy margarita - it was my favorite one!!! The tacos were awesome and my husband really enjoyed his quesadilla. The restaurant is always well populated but a table is usually available without waiting (huge plus!!!). Definitely recommend this place. Great flavors and great service.

Good Mexican food and always served hot. the prices are lower than the local Mexican Restaurant on Virgini. the food is high quality here and the staff work hard and fast to make your service grea. plenty parking right in front or the side parking lot.

This is a go to place. The food is always good. Quick seating usually. Good service. A tried a true.
