Local Cantina Grove City

The ambiance is very much a bar vibe mixed with colorful textures and decor. We were able to sit ourselves and our server was quick to take our order and attentive. Our food arrived pretty quickly too. The farmers market is my favorite, the double taco shell is awesome and the tangy vinaigrette added a nice flavor combo. All the ingredients tasted fresh including the pico and cabbage slaw. My street corn was amazing, nice char on the corn and spicy/sweet flavor. I enjoy the self serve chips and salsa and the queso is a hit too!

I tried Local Cantina during Taco Tuesday and it surpassed my expectations! Half of the specialty tacos are $2 and the other half are between $3 and $4. I had the Hong Kong Phooey, Nashville Hot Chicken, and Red Chili Pork tacos. There were one or two ingredients on each I wouldn't normally eat, but all taken together they were amazing!I sat at the bar and both bartenders were jovial and pleasant. They were patient as it was my first time at the Cantina. I didn't realize there was a free nacho bar and I will have to go back to sample that. I definitely recommend Local Cantina!

Local Cantina used to be one of my favorite spots in Grove City, but I feel like the service has gone downhill post-COVID. The ambiance is fun but the music can be very loud depending on the time of day and ranges depending on who is on shift - sometimes pop country, sometimes something completely different. The menu used to be expansive and fun, and they've removed a few things - such as burrito and taco selections that we used to love. Also, the prices have gone up as well which is understandable due to current economic conditions, but the fact that the food and service are worse make it hard to keep coming back. My favorite tacos include the Hong Kong Phooey, the Nashville Hot Chicken, and the Crunchweezy. I used to get a carnitas taco w/pinapple but they got rid of it... Their salsa, guac, and queso are all yummy and the chips are good if they're not too salty/greasy. The mustache ride is my favorite marg option.

It's been a while since I've been here but it was good as usual. Our server was super nice and we got our food really quickly. The tacos were fantastic and they have some really unique combinations. The chips and salsa bar is always a favorite, and they play great music.

Everything was super cute (decorations). There is a self-serve salsa bar (which is very creative and fun). We loved the chimichangas and margaritas. Their queso is FANTASTIC! Everything was flavorful and really yummy overall. Service was also great at the bar. We were overall impressed and look forward to trying more items on the menu!

Stopped in with my uncle for a lunch. The atmosphere is very casual, seat yourself and self serve chips and salsa. The music was a little loud for a Sunday lunch but we made do. My uncle got the taco salad which he enjoyed and I got two tacos. The tinka chicken taco was good the taco was flavorful although I could do with a little more spice. The Baja shrimp taco was lacking a little in my opinion since I only had about three small shrimp pieces so I think I'll stick to the chicken if I'm ever back. The service was okay, nothing really stood out to me. Our server was polite and the food was out quickly so I can't complain. All in all an okay experience.

As a native Californian I always enjoy trying taco joints around the country when I travel. This place was a couple miles from hotel so had to try it. I was shocked at great these tacos were. We got Cali Chicken, Carne Asada, Birria, Fish and Al Pastor.The tortillas were cooked perfectly, meat was cooked to perfection, toppings on each taco were good and taste/texture was perfect, The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. It was a bit crowded but didn't wait long for anything. Plenty of TV's to watch a game while you eat, bar was stocked up nice as well.

I go to Taco Tuesday every week with my friend. The food is always amazing and the service is even better. Emma and Josie are our usual servers. They make us feel special everytime we go in. If you visit, show them some love!

We've been a fan of Local Cantina for 2 years. Loved going on Taco Tuesdays especially. However, they've recently changed some of their $2.22 tacos to $4.00 AND swapped out the delicious flour tacos to nasty, fall apart corn tacos. The corn tacos are soggy, chalky tasting and basically disintegrate when you try to pick them up making them impossible to eat without a fork. Totally unacceptable and gross. We have not been back and will find another option for Taco Tuesday! So VERY DISAPPOINTED IN LOCAL CANTINA!!!

I ordered a steak smothered burrito for pick up. Once I got home i opened it to just see a scoop of beef with some cheese and what looks like just a lot of grease.
