It's been a while since we ate here and I was surprised to see the poor reviews on Yelp. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but my experiences here over the last 14 years have been better than other reviews indicate.Usually we order something besides pizza; tonight hubby wanted an Italian hoagie and we wanted to support a local place rather than a chain restaurant. I ordered a chef salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a small cheese bread, which he picked up as a carry out order. We both enjoyed our choices and will definitely return.

Lenny's is a nice family owned restaurant with affordable prices, with a wide selection of food choices.Their hot brown was on point; good tasting mornay sauce and crispy bacon with fresh tomato and sliced turkey.We tried their deluxe and 1 topping mushroom pizza. Both were good and the crust was crisp. Both the toppings and pizza sauce were delicious.I had the breaded mushrooms, which had a nice light batter and were tasty.Also, their spaghetti with meat sauce is very good. It has a good sauce to noodle ratio.It's hard to find a restaurant with the flavor burst ice cream. You have to try it if you ever get the chance! There are so many different flavor combinations you can create.I had carry out, but the restaurant seemed very clean and well taken care of. This restaurant is definitely worth a stop if your traveling through, visiting, or live in the Frankfort area. It's also just a short drive from Louisville and Lexington. Check their hours before heading their way, they are usually closed on weekends since they are family owned.

This is a great family business that has been around at least the 70's! They have the best Stromboli's anywhere!!! The pizza's ARE NOT like your typical "big box" well known pizza makers. They are handmade with fresh ingredients. The menu has a great variety of delish pastas for anyone's taste. Their bread is warm with a garlic butter melted on top. The menu also has salads and a mouthwatering Hot Brown!!!I GIVE IT:

UPDATE REVIEW:After coming here a second time, I will not be returning. While the pizza is decent and edible, I cannot go back there. The mushrooms on the pizza this time were very much from a can. I also ordered the waffle fries with bacon and cheese. The fries were completely unseasoned and obviously from a frozen bag. The bacon was the only thing cooked in house. The cheese was FREAKING CHEESE IN A CAN. Not even kidding, it was obvious it was cheeze whiz. SO GROSS.

This place is listed in Yelp under two addresses. Neither has good reviews. But when a friend & I were tossing around places to eat after work in Frankfort, I said, "Let's go somewhere I've never been." Bad call. I ordered the chicken tender basket, figuring that'd be safe & I haven't had chicken tenders in so long I can't even remember the last time. They don't bring you your food when it's ready; they call out your number. Well, my number was never called. I saw that a plate had been sitting on the counter and asked my friend if he thought it may be mine. He went to check and sure enough, it was. The dining area is small. The person at the counter could see me. So even if she did call my number -- and I swear she didn't -- she could have waved at me or tried to get my attention. And that chicken finger basket? Not good. At all. I paid almost $10 and would've been happier with Dairy Queen. Much happier. At least DQ has Blizzards.Bottom line: there's a sign over the counter that says, "If you want home cooking, eat at home." And I wish I had done just that.

Great food ! Great service and ambiance authentic Italian food all over great place to have good Italian food !

I've only had their subs here and they were really good. Prices are reasonable. I've been probably 5 times and the older blonde lady up at the front isn't the friendliest person on the planet at all. That is my only negative comment about the place. The restaurant is well maintained and clean.

We've eaten here three or four times and found the food to be good and the prices to be OK. We have, however, found the older white hair'd lady that works the register to be rude and very un-personal. She takes your order and has nothing to say, not even a greeting or smile. Please, Linney's get someone out front that has a personality.

I love this local restaurant. I have been eating here for about 40 years now. The food is still as good today as it was when I first started coming here. So glad this restaurant has remained in the Linney family all these years. I believe they have the best garlic bread in town. Love the Stromboli with pizza sauce and the ham & cheese sandwich...YUMMY!
