Late breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Above average with plenty of sausage bits in the gravy. And because it was a late breakfast, that qualified for a dessert of pie! The black raspberry pie was a standout. Flakey crust, the real deal.Throw in an engaging waitress and historical pictures of West Liberty, and this place I serves this small town well.

Today I experienced a few firsts! First, the waitress looked like she pulled her clothes out of the dirty clothes basket. Second she acted extremely rude when she took our order. We should have left then but we didn't and then the third and most disturbing thing happened - - she initially gave our food to the incorrect table, after they touched the food trying to figure out what it was the waitress took it off their table and delivered it to us. Yes, you read that correctly. When I brought it to her attention that I saw what she did her response was, "I didn't know they touched it". WTF?! You aren't offering the salad bar because of COVID but you gave me food someone else had touched. We went here based on previous good reviews. Don't bother, it's disgusting and so is the staff.

I swear to God everyone's grandmother is in the kitchen!!What started as a quick breakfast turned in to try everything from fried mushrooms to a bison burger. Everything we tried tastes incredible and the people act like you are family. If I didn't experience it myself I would have thought it was a cliche. 5 stars for taste, service and value! I want to put this place in my pocket and take them with me back to Cocoa, Florida!

Charming and unpretentious little diner in West Liberty. Friendly and attentive service. Huge menu. Most entrees come with two side dishes, or one side plus a traditional salad bar which includes a daily soup and chili. Portions are huge. My companions went for the smothered roast beef and mashed potatoes. They both loved it. I had a perfectly grilled medium rare bison burger with the works. Great choice for lunch after touring the Ohio Caverns.

A very good place for breakfast, and lunch. They have great omelettes coffee and their Bison Burgers are tender juicy, never disappoint. It takes an average 30 mins for food to get out. That is the only down fall.

"Small town with a big heart." That is what I would describe the Liberty Gathering Place as. Stopped in here after walking in the West Liberty Labor Day Parade last month. I had the pulled pork sandwich (which was homemade I think) with their fries. It was pretty tasty. If I ever make it back to West Liberty, I will have to stop by again. good little hometown restaurant. Where you can get fried green tomatoes and one of my all-time favorites is there hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich it's delicious.

Home cooking, good for the stomach and soul! Will be back for sure. Soup and salad bar was plenty!

Just very average. Slow service. Breakfast. Cold food. I wouldn't go back. Disappointed after reading good reviews.
