Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Stop by here for a quick lunch today for the first time. The service was very good and the restaurant was quite clean and the green beans and coleslaw. We're also quite tasty and obviously fresh.,The chicken breast was just a bit dry, but OK . And the biscuit was very good, but a little too salty for my liking.I really loved Keith Byers their spokesman when he played and I would go here again

Lee's is actually very good if you simply can't get it in your state. The tender combo is the way to go and a family with two small children shouldn't need more than the eight piece family pack. I prefer their bonsai sauce and their barbecue sauce is tangy and on point. The biscuits, coleslaw and Mac n' cheese are what you've come to expect from the colonel. The this location is just off of I-70 on the east side of the road.

Driving through town and we thought we'd try a place we had never been to (or heard of for that matter)They were supposed to open at 10:30 and there was a line of people a few minutes before 10:30. They were having some sort of issue that morning (seemed more personal than business) and so they didn't open until about 10:40.The chicken is excellent. Fries and mac and cheese were pretty darn gross.I would definitely suggest trying the chicken but get your sides somewhere else.

Wow! What an unpleasant experience. The only reason I gave two stars is because Emma (who was at the window), was incredibly friendly and bubbly. She deserves recognition for her wonderful attitude! The older lady on the speaker was incredibly gruff and rude. It was 9:10pm and the restaurant closes at 10pm. We were looking over the menu for ice cream and the older lady rudely and abrasively said, "If you want ice cream, you better order now. We are shutting everything down in two minutes." So we quickly decided and started ordering. The gruff woman said very hatefully after one item was placed, "You are going to have to hold on." We finished ordering and the car behind us wanted ice cream. The hateful woman said, "Sorry. That's all shut down for the night." They left. The next car wanted ice cream and was told the same thing. They then wanted chicken and they were told that it would be 30 minutes for that. They left too. Lee's needs to do something about this gruff, abrasive woman. She is off putting and not good with the public. I will most likely not return.

So glad I passed KFC to try Lee's. The crispy chicken was fantastic and spicy. The skin was very crispy and the chicken was so tender. Along with the chicken the sides are excellent too. The potato salad, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and baked beans beat any side at KFC. Also the iced tea is great! They definitely earned my business.

We were told that the chicken strips would take seven minutes to cook, and instead it took 19 solid minutes of waiting. They are good, but it was an insane amount of time to wait.

This place reminds me of a souped up Church's chicken. It's all a ball of grease deep fried meat. Could have easily passed this up. Not worth sampling.

Excellent. I just had the best meal I've ever gotten at any Lee's. The chicken breasts were huge, hot and juicy and the sides were of a very generous portion size. They were out of wings so they substituted a breast instead, at no extra charge.The atmosphere was polite and friendly, which is a rarity nowadays, and the employees seemed to actually be enjoying themselves. At work. Go figure. I mean seriously... it was a good enough experience that I'm writing a positive review about it!

Rude drive through lady. When she didn't understand what I said she yelled, "what!?" Very harshly. Impatient with w questions. Did not have the drink I wanted so I asked her to remove from the order she said I had to get two sides instead of one if I don't want the drink. I cancelled order and she said "fine!" So so rude! No one else in line! I left with nothing. Was so looking forward to the chicken! Won't be back. Went up the road to Taco Bell....don't even like Taco Bell! They were so kind and grateful for the business.

Very great very delicious i absolutely love it. Mr. Brandon Ball deserves a raise, he's fire on that grill. He's the reason i wanna come back for more! Love it!
