Out for lunch on Cincinnati Fountain Square and saw a food truck I haven't yet tried. The menu looked great so I thought I would give it a go. I don't normally rate food trucks as they are what they are and hard to compare to a restaurant experience. However...Lasang Pinoy carries off a restaurant quality of food, flavor, and variety. I'm a big boy and couldn't finish my lunch. Chicken over rice with rice noodles and veg stir fry and four egg rolls... perfection. I had to go back and make sure I got the name right so I could share my experience with you. I let the chef know how happy I was with lunch as well.If you see their truck, chase it like an ice cream truck on a hot day! You will love it!

I don't know that I've really tried much Filipino food if any but I had an order of pork lumpia today when I found the truck at the Road Trip Market at the Boone County fair grounds. They made it fresh upon me ordering it and warned me it was hot when it came out. I waited until I got home to eat it because it felt like it was still toasty for the drive! By the time I got home it was just right temperature wise and was perfectly seasoned. I really enjoyed! The wrap was crispy and overall I'd try it again plus more!

Talk about authentic Filipino food. This food truck is one of a kind, the flavors compared to other Filipinos spots are on another level. Their chicken and pork BBQ skewers are the best and the Pork adobo is so juicy and tender that you'll come back just for it. They serve good portions, worth the cost and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely a food truck to follow for when they visit the area.
