Stopped in here to check this newer place out after finding out they have a lunch buffet. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and seated. It felt very inviting and very clean. Upon sitting we received chips and salsa which were both really good. Salsa wasn't spicy but had flavor. We ordered house margaritas on special for buy one get one half off and they were very strong and not made with the best tequila so that made it a bit hard to drink. The buffet food was well stocked and hot. They have a salad bar complete with shredded cheese, sour cream and jalapenos to add to your tacos etc. Here's a list of other food items RiceBeans (a little watery)Chicken fajitas Steak fajitas Hard and soft shell tortillas Ground beef Reg chicken strips Shredded chicken CarnitasCheese dip Flautas which are amazingIce cream I would definitely come back for lunch or even dinner to try their menu items. The server was very attentive and super sweet.

Seriously good Mexican food! My husband got the Burrito California (chicken, steak, and shrimp burrito) and I had the Burrito Especial (beef burrito). He ordered our meal as take-out, and it was delicious! Piping hot, with an order of chips and delicious homemade salsa to share. The crowning glory of the meal was the cheesecake chimichanga. It's seriously one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life!

Our family was excited to see this restaurant finally open, in a great location that can't seem to keep businesses alive. La Rosa is a familiar name to most locals, as they have a location in Bargersville with a good lunch buffet. This Greenwood location doesn't have a buffet - it's pretty much your typical Mexican fare.We stopped in on a Sunday for lunch, but unfortunately they don't offer lunch specials on weekends. Chips and salsa were fine - they gave us refills once they brought the entrees. For entrees, we got the fajita bicho, chimichangas cuatas, and burrito roqueta. My wife loved her burrito, and the sauces on it were excellent. The chimichanga was exactly what you would expect from a chimichanga. The fajitas tasted excellent - the pastor marinade was perfect. Unfortunately, the portion was on the smaller end - what you would typically expect from lunch fajitas, but at the dinner price. The refried beans were great, but everyone at our table agreed the rice was pretty bland. Not particularly surprising. We tried to pay our waiter at the table, but he informed us we should pay at the front. There was a bit of awkwardness when we got up and waited by the cash register, then all the employees disappeared into the kitchen for about five minutes. Not a big deal, but I chuckled given that our waiter knew we were trying to leave. The decor looks great - much nicer than when it was the barbecue shack. Overall, a nice addition to the area, but it's not doing anything significantly different than the other Mexican options around town. I wish they would bring their lunch buffet here - otherwise, I think we'll just stick to coming for dinner.

I get it. We're in Indiana, I shouldn't expect much from a Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is great and very clean. The chips were fresh, and the salsa was a nice picante style. Service was very speedy. My father and I ordered a pretty typical meal and got one of their combinations each and a side of Guacamole. I got 3 tacos with beans and rice. My dad ordered an enchilada and burrito plate. The ground beef is not good at all, sandy, dry, and just generically seasoned. I should've gotten something else. The Guacamole was from a can and had absolutely no texture to it, just green slime. The enchilada sauce was your typical canned one, not bad. The burrito was barely a burrito, a husk full of ground beef, no other fillings. The price was very affordable, so maybe that should've been the sign of how the food is made. I get how this works as a Mexican restaurant in this area, but it is no good. Hope this business does well.

This place is clean, decorated nicely and the service was okay. I wish the food was better :( Everything was lacking of flavor and basic salt. I mean all of it, from the salsa to the beans and rice and entrees. No flavor. Hope they can improve. It's definitely a red sign when only gringos are eating there ;)

My husband and I went on a date and we saw this place so we stopped in for the buffet. I own three businesses locally so I usually lay low with reviews as I know businesses thrive off of good ones and bad reviews are a hindrance. The service was good. My husband I grabbed our plates for the buffet around 1pm we each got one plate. I can't have dairy so I picked everything without it. I ate about four bites and I looked at my husband and said, I wouldn't feed this to my dog. He said it's not too bad. I went back and got another plate and changed what I got in case it was just the selection the first go around: I ate one bite, back down it goes. We both walked out not feeling well. We got home and spent the rest of the day in bed. At 1a, my husband started throwing up and continued the rest of the night. I woke up today feeling like I had been hit by a train. Hot, cold, stomach cramps like I've never had before. We both got food poisoning. We will not be back, but wish this business success.

This place is alright. The language barrier does get annoying to be honest, you have to repeat yourself several times. Food has been made wrong because you say "no tomatoes" for example and your food comes out with tomatoes all over it. Make sure you examine your bill if you got a food item that's on sale according to their board when you first walk in. Our party had 2 items that were on sale and we went to go pay and noticed they did not discount it. We had to say something.
