This place is a hidden gem! Since my family first found this restaurant a couple of years ago, La Jaiba is the ONLY place that I go to for great Mexican food. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is second to none. I always recommend La Jaiba as THE place to go for authentic Mexican food in Cincinnati. The restaurant is relaxed and family friendly. Kids eat free on Sunday's and my very picky nephew LOVES their cheeseburgers and fries. I've never had a bad dish, and I even select La Jaiba for my family birthday meal every year. The Molcajete is one of my favorites for special occasions. If I am out of town with friends and they want to get Mexican food, I no longer order a dish with beans, because nothing compares to the beans that you get at La Jaiba. All other beans are congealed and flavorless in comparison. And let me tell you about the salsa...I could drink it. The flavor is delicious and not too spicy. The kids even like it! If you are in the mood for a margarita, on the rocks, or frozen, salt on the rim or sugar, you are in for a good time. This is the best place my friends and I hit up when we need a girl's night. You will not be sorry with a meal at La Jaiba! 10/10 every time!

Best kept secret around this area. This place goes in. Do yourself a favor and get the "grill dip" JT's basically three tacos plus more for the chips.Giant waters and beer. All around A+

Always good food and good service. Our recent dinner here was delicious. The salsa, while pretty good in the past, was really tasty this time. It was better. My husband ordered the Enchiladas Seafood and I ordered the Pollo Supremo. Both were dishes that we haven't ordered previously. My chicken entree was so rich and so delicious! It was also very filling and I had to take more than half of it home. I had it for the lunch the next day and it was just a good. My husband also really enjoyed his enchiladas.

La Jaiba is our go-to for real authentic Mexican. Ironically it's in our hometown of Loveland. My wife's favorite cuisine is Mexican but I swore off Mexican food in Cincinnati about 10 years ago because the food everywhere was absolutely mediocre. Poor quality meats, uninspired and cheap menu items, all of it is just really fast food for the masses. This homogenized approach to creating "Mexican" food in Cincy drove me away, including all the chains and mom & pop joints (with the very notable exception of Mazunté). La Jaiba is the real deal! Seafood selection is outstanding, meat enchiladas, burritos, and chimichangas, all exceptional. Huge menu, owners are onsite 90% of the time, and the local Latino population frequents this gem. Congrats to the owners for finally bringing good south-of-border food to the east side.

The best of eating local! We have eaten at La Jaiba for years and it is the epitome of a family owned business that focuses on a high quality food. They have all the american-expected Mexican fare and also a lot of really cool options that will interest the food adventurer. Today I ate the Mojarra, which is a full Talapia (bone in) that is deep fried. Awesome! Over the years we've had the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chimichangas, shrimp & garlic and many more. It is all fantastic! Also, they make great frozen Margaritas and offer draft Dos Equis and other Mexican beers. A few other tidbits...You get chips up front which allow you to get full before your meal arrives unless you have the restraint of a titanium lock. If they are busy, they are busy. Be supportive and you will have a great time.

The food was good and the service was even better. It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the corner of a strip mall
