Was out here for work and looking for lunch. Stopped in here because of the reviews and I will say that it did not disappoint. The staff was super welcoming. A sign read "please bare with us. The food is made to order" We ordered and hung out. Let's just say, the food was worth the wait. Lunch did not take an abnormal about of time to come out. The meat was super flavorful. The fried plantain was amazing. They brought over some sauce that was the icing on the cake! If I could, I would have brought home a bottle of it! If you are looking for some amazing food, stop in here and check it out. It is a must try. I will be back the next time I am in the area!

Came in during the snowstorm a few weeks ago. The staff was awesome explaining the dishes to a table of four who had never experienced Colombian food before.

The food was full of flavor, the service was attendant and helpful as well. For example, they recommended to me some of their favorite dishes which did not disappoint! As far as ambiance goes, it was very casual. Great spot for a meal with some friends or a casual date.

Delicious food and great service. The only thing that would have made it better would be a glass of sangria, lol. I recommend checking them out. Great value for your money and great location.

Finally got to make it back for a meal as we came in for the eclipse, but it was a more disappointing experience. We were only a party of two and it was obvious we were not a priority for the one server working. The prices have also increased quite a bit, $7.50 for a piece of cake and $3.50 for an unsweetened tea. I would come back and eat here but making it over here while in Dayton won't be a priority.

After a recommendation from a co worker my wife and I went to this restaurant and were very happy with the experience. The menu was a little intimidating being in Spanish, but the pictures of the items made it work for us. We had the empanadas for an appetizer and they were big and meaty. The chimichuri sauce was really good. For dinner the combo plate with beef and pork belly was great. My wife had a chicken tostada and we were both pleased. Service was very attentive and speedy. The prices were a little high, but for homemade and fair portions they weren't out of line. We will be going back.

La Colombiana was on my sister's list of places to try, but with a family, sometimes going to the unknown isn't an option. Luckily, I rolled into town with some time to kill and super hungry so La Colombiana, here we come! Both of us have familiarity with South American food but not specifically Colombian (caveat).I went a bit safer with an order or arepa con todo with chicken. Intrigued by the menu photo, my sister got the pantacones, also with chicken. Our first impression started things off well with cute presentation. Then we ate. This was an interesting experience for me because none of the flavors were especially strong but it all worked together. Pantacones are green plantains but I'm not sure I picked up on what I thought a green plantain would taste like- but again, everything together just worked really well. Both of us felt like dessert so we went for the torta cuatro leches and obleas. Again, cute presentation. The torta cuatro leches is very similar to tres leches cake but with more cinnamon than any tres leches cake I've had. I will say...the obleas was weird. But not weird enough to not eat all of it. The crispness of the wafer was a nice contrast to the smooshy ingredients inside. The cheese added a little saltiness that balanced the sweet jam and caramel. Another dish that was great as a whole.Service was friendly, not super speedy but we weren't in a hurry and it wasn't excessively slow. Prices were competitive to what a low/mid-range chain charges. My sister lives close and taunted her husband with our food photos. She will definitely be back with him and I wouldn't turn down a chance to try more from the menu next time I'm in Dayton.

We like to try different food when we travel and this little place did not disappoint. We started with appetizers of beef empanadas- so flavorful and the sauces on the side were fantastic. Hubby had beans and rice and eggs which my husband says was the most amazing beans and rice ever and he's picky. I had the beef dish with shredded beef seasoned perfectly served with rice and beans. Excellent food- great service- amazing flavors!
