Owner is extremely rude/nasty. I came up to this bar to watch friends in the weekly Sunday volleyball game. I sat down in one of the seats, at the bar, to watch.. like everyone else. He came up to me once after the first game and jokingly goes "you're in the refs seat girl," To which I responded "oh I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I thought he was joking the whole time. Then after the second game he came up again and goes "I mean come on..I'm serious.. get the hell up," so I went "Oh you were serious," and then he rudely HIT the back of my chair and goes "Yes, I stand up the whole game and I want to sit down and smoke a f*cking cigarette." 1. There were multiple chairs right next to me he could have sat in2. He doesn't even "stand" the whole game (check photo)3. To be the owner.. he really knows how to speak with customers

Top live music venue at the corner of Blue Rock and Cheviot. They have live acoustic Wed and Thurs and then full bands 9-1 on Fri and Sat. Super fun place with pool tables and killer sound and light shows for the bands. Check them out!!

It's a super chill environment. I'm not big on bars, but if you go early on a Tuesday or Saturday, it's not too packed, plenty of room to feel safe and have fun. Obviously if you're going late on the wknd, they host killer bands, lotsa bodies, so enter at your own risk if Covid-19's one of your fears.

Went there for the first time last night and saw Naked Karate Girls. I was pleasantly surprised by the bar. Plenty of space, decent drink selection. Only complaint was the parking - it was very cramped and people were parked in tons of non-parking spots making even more difficult to maneuver.

If you are a night person, this is the place to be!! I can only write a review on the outside section of the bar because that is usually where I hang out and only inside for the restroom. All I know about the inside that it is LOUD! There is a Live band there every night. Cleanliness is like any bar so don't go barefoot there which is sometimes hard to do. (explained later)The outside area is really nice. They have a large space with high table tops and dancing. The bar is pretty darn cool. It is an island where people can sit all around it. Great carpentry on it too. Their sound system is pretty awesome and clear. Nice that it cancels out the sound from inside. Then right next to the bar is the sand volleyball court. (this is where barefeet comes to play). On weekdays, there are Volleyball tournaments in the evenings. But before or after the tournament (after 10p) the court is open to everyone. The bartender has the volleyball and just need an ID to get the ball and play. THIS IS THE BEST PART of this bar. People get together and play some good volleyball and enjoy drinking at the same time. The lighting is perfect and sand is comfortable. Almost like good play sand when I was little. (I have been in some rough sand before) I come here a lot when I want to do something besides sitting but still want to drink.

Absolutely my favorite bar on the west side. There is live music on stage every night from open mic nights to top-notch bar bands playing everything from classic rock covers to blues to modern experiments. Lots of open space for dancing, too. The crowd is down-to-earth and friendly to newcomers and the service at the bar is quick. Lots of parking for your Hog if you have one and an outdoor deck with tiki bar for the warmer nights. Pool tables and darts also available!

The Pine is a nice local hangout where you can enjoy live music and having to yell at one another to be heard. If you can get pass the idea that you may have to hunt for parking and its loud, you will like it. It use to have a bad reputation for the type of people in there, but its calmed down significantly. I like it when there is nowhere else to go to end the night and if there is a band that I like and want to hear. Its definitely a local spot where you will run into Colerain and White Oaks finest.

Stopped in for a beer and possibly standard bar food on Wed night. Left with a migraine because of some idiot using a guitar like a food grater and attempting to sing with vocal fry clearly due to years of hitting a crack pipe. Never going back...
