King Buffet

We haven't been to the King buffet and over three years. We got there about 5 PM and it wasn't very crowded. The restaurant seemed like it was dirty. There were napkins on the floor and a fork. The buffet haven't been wiped down in a while. The food seemed a little dried out. Not sure if they are shortstaffed. We will not be in a hurry to go back.

I just love this place for takeout and eating in. Food is always amazing and service is good.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Next day, had skin rashes all over me. Hibachi had frozen meat. Felt like I had an allergic reaction. Done with that place PERMANENTLY!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I was in the mood for seafood, and wasn't quite sure what I wanted and came across this buffet. I read some reviews and saw that they weren't the best but my aunts boyfriend Insisted we give it a try. When we first got there we ended up paying 40 dollars for two people and only ended up spent about 20 minutes in the restaurant before leaving. We were very disappointed that all the reviews were true. All the food was cold and looked like it had been there for a while. When we almost gave up hope, we decided to try the hibachi grill. I got noodles and she got rice with teriyaki sauce and the teriyaki sauce ended up tasting like a sweet syrup, which ended up tasting horrible with the rice and veggies so we threw it away. We left very disappointed and hungry considering the food was very cold and extremely unappealing.

If the price of one adult and one child is going to be just shy of $40, I expect better food. I could have taken her to any other dine-in restaurant and gotten a better meal cheaper. Red Lobster is near and I should've just taken her there. The fried rice vegetables were hard. The chicken was tiny dried pieces with little to no meat, the beef and broccoli was slimy weird fat pieces with uncooked broccoli. My daughter hated what she chose, I can't blame her because mine wasn't good either. She ended up getting a slice of pizza and she couldn't bite through it - she's 9. She tapped it on the table and it was like a rock. My daughter went to the bathroom, I walked her because the construction workers in our area had some kind of staring problem. The bathroom had the smell of old beef and fish. It's a distinctive smell, it cannot be mistaken. I was trying not to gag waiting for her to come out. When she came out I seen into the bathroom, it was so dirty. I felt bad sending her in there because it was so filthy and looked like it was under construction. My daughter said the floor had puddles and she hoped it wasn't pee. Again, she's 9. I let her just get desserts, at least the money could go to something because at that rate we couldn't find anything to eat that looked, smelled, or tasted normal. Once she was done we left. This was where she chose to go on her mom/daughter day. I called her out of school to spend the day alone with her and just hang out. It was a huge, huge disappointment.

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before i decided to come in here! Geesh! My first time here and the experience was awesome! All buffet tables were open and stocked! They even have a hibachi grill. For two people at lunch we paid less than $30 including drinks. Yes some things were a little on the cool side, but you could clearly see them working through and bringing out fresh food! From fruit to ice cream to BBQ ribs this place was great!

King Buffet hits another one of of the ballpark. Visited during lunch rush. It was busy enough to keep fresh food updated on the buffet. The hibachi grill was great as were the other lunch items. Of special note: the broccoli beef, cheesy broccoli, pepper chicken and the noodle vegetable (cabbage and carrots) dishes were favorites. I make it a point every time I am in the Beechmont Road area to stop by. Never have I been disappointed here.

If I could describe this place in the best way possible it would Chinese food that has been left on the counter for a week. the sushi bar is leftover food rolled up. Every meat was over cooked and hard as a rock. 100% would not recommend if you know what good food taste like. The lady came to get our plates and gave my mother in law a very rude look. anything that was cooked correctly has no flavor and the salt didn't even help. My stomach started hurting very shortly after I started eating. if you want half descent chinese food go to the dragon buffet in huberheights it's everything this place wishes it was. This buffets workers think because we are Americans we will like their leftover food. For $17 a person they could add a little effort. if I could leave negative stars I would.

I went to the restaurant with a friend out on a limb after passing it for a long time on many occasions and I was quite impressed The cold fruit was very fresh and the main food was hot and was really good.Some of the food I didn't like was because it wasn't bad or anything it just wasn't my taste.The place was very clean and organized which is something I take very highly especially the dining area and seeing people cleaning and not just running a wet rag across the middle of it but actually taking the time to clean the entire table makes me feel much better.Very up to date decor that was free of dust.

Pay up front - good thing too. Buffet was terrible. Many selections but... the only thing green was the salad and beef broccoli and chicken broccoli. Everything was as is. The General Tso chicken was small and very crispy, rest was just chicken this and chicken that. Mashed potatoes and gravy but nothing to go with it. Self serve drinks and dessert. Very disaapointed.
