Kenwood Country Club

Great place. My Oma (Grandma if you don't know German) was a very frequent visitor here. And since she visited here very often, she got a good certificate. She came here a few times a week, and sadly she passed away a few years ago. My father used to work here, and I the times that I've been here with him has been great. I remember showing one of my dad's co-workers a "AC/DC" song. It was a great time. And maybe on the future, I'll be a caddy for the golf players whom come here.

This review is only for the clubhouse. I can't speak to the quality of the golf course, but by all reports it is beautiful.My employer held its Christmas party here, and the setting was fabulous for that. Our party of a hundred or so had plenty of room in the banquet hall next to the bar, which was well stocked and served. Food was served buffet style, and the quality was very good, especially the beef tenderloin. They cleared a spot in front of the DJ for dancing after dinner, and a splendid time was had by all.

Kenwood Country Club offers a new kind of setting for the Madeira area. The club is complete with a swimming pool, a golf course, a banquet hall, and tennis courts, making it a great place for booking parties, taking out the coworkers, or just spending a day with the kids. From what I hear, the membership here is somewhat pricey, but I think the establishment is great for a wide range of activities.

While I'm not a member, I can see why people join. I work in events and have had the pleasure of entertaining the families at several functions over the past couple of years. Beautiful grounds, attentive, friendly staff and an incredible atmosphere truly set them apart.

Such a beautiful course. They have done some great renovations to the outdoor pool and bar area. They offer a huge parking lot, and the greens are pristine. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The front nine is a ton of fun, but not forgiving. This course is great to play with other talented golfers who can show you the way! The outdoor bar offers several flatscreen's and top shelf liquors and a great selection of beer. Plenty of outdoor seating. The inside club room still offers that old school grandiose feeling. I have such a great time playing here!

I dined with my sorority and our alumni, and the workers serving us were extremely rude. Treated with no respect, we felt so unimportant, maybe because we aren't members at the club? Either way a server should never make you feel this way or yell at anyone dining.

KCC is truly The Club of Excellence. It's like a luxury cruise liner on land, complete with 36 phenomenal golf holes, swimming facility, tennis and paddle, and activities galore. The culinary staff consistently provides outstanding features and every day menu items, and the service is second to none. We have sponsored weddings and other events and have always been more than impressed. The meticulously landscaped grounds are perfect for outdoor functions and the management and staff always deliver beyond expectations.
