Fantastic place! Stopped in for a coffee, stayed for over an hour and topped it off with an Old Fashioned! Lisa is an absolute gem! Will be back if ever in Maysville again. *****

This place is amazing. The bookstore is nice, but the bar in the back was a surprise. My daughter and I arrived fairly early the day before Thanksgiving. We ordered coffee and a small charcuterie board to share. It was fresh and delicious, the lady made it look wonderful. The people working were so nice. In fact they gave me some coffee to bring home. I will definitely be back!!!

I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Cute wine bar in the back of a bookstore. I ordered the "small" charcuterie and a glass of Sav Blanc. The charcuterie ($18) board and wine ($9) were fairly mediocre but ok enough. I can't highly recommend coming here but if you want a place to sit for a little while when visiting Maysville, it's a decent option.

This place is so cool! We wandered into the store--a good selection of books and unique gifts. But further back in the store is an adorable bar with a speakeasy vibe. I had a bourbon slushee which was sweet but delicious. Hubby had a Kentucky mule which he said was awesome, very refreshing! Service was top notch!

An amazing wonderful experience! A cozy, elegant bar in the rear of a first class bookstore! The ambience resembles a comfortable study with music to soothe and mellow the sipping of a fine bourbon or their famous bourbon slushee. The menu is perfect for a light nosh with lovely charcuterie and cheese boards or a wide variety of sliders and sandwiches. A lovely spot to connect with a friend, make part of a date night- or belly up to the handsome bar and make a new friend with the people beside you and the delightful bartender!

BOOKS and BOOZE! Extra charming new place since 2021 in the heart of historical downtown Maysville.Wednesdays are not busy so it is nice to chat with the staff and the slushie scooper (not a true bartender this day) but a bourbon slushie was what we needed on this hot September afternoon.Lots of good current books. I hope bookstores never die as we go more and more digital. Best vibes come from bookstores and this one is not old and musty so my nose is thankful, just a good place for your billfold to take a hit. Shop local and drink local, plus have a few low key nibbles.

I was here for the first time last year while from California, visiting my bestie. I absolutely fell in love with this place and the beautiful ladies that ran the place while I was there. It's absolutely beautiful inside. The book section gives u a feel of comfort, and they have a nice variety of books. The bar area is stunning. The ladies that work there are so nice and welcoming. The charcuterie board is delicious. And the bourbon slushies are so good. I am definitely looking forward to going back there.

Their famous Bourbon Slush deserves to be "famous"and their sandwiches are great; all hand made to orderAnd don't be fooled if you go in the store and no one is eating there; we've been there twice and no one was there (but it was on a weekend and early afternoon).......
