They sell out quick! They must be good. We didn't get a donut as we didn't have a personal choice we liked.... I know, any donut is a good donut. However, we had several donuts in the car already from the other donut shops we had been too on the Butler county donut trsil

Another yummy donut shop along my BFF and my journey through the donut trail. We had fun here and yummy donuts. Great customer service and some very yummy options. They brought out some chocolate drizzled strawberry type donut just as we were leaving oh it looked so good. I will have to come back for one.

I did the entire donut trail - and this by far is my favorite- not sure their recipe for cake or yeast donuts but they are delicious!! They just made the most adorable and yummy custom cookies for a wedding shower.

We visited here while doing the Donut Trail. The donut was fresh and tasted good. I loved their kit for making your own Halloween donuts.

I tried Kelly's Bakery while on the Donut Trail. Saturday morning of Father's Day, my husband and I decided to take our DT list and go around with our daughter and try most of the shops listed. This was one of the stops on the Donut Trail. This ended up being our first stop of the afternoon. I thought the donut would have been pretty good, because when we arrived there was a small line inside. However, I was disappointed and not that impressed with the donut we tried from here. The first leg of the trail our daughter was sleep and it was raining outside, so I sent my husband in to grab any donut for us to try. He told the lady it was his first time and asked what she suggested. She suggested the Strawberry Cake Donut with Cream Cheese Frosting so he went for it. While on the trail we only got one donut per shop. This was the first stop and we had 6 more to go. From every location we tried something different. Neither my husband or I were impressed with the donut we had from this location. It tasted very artificial and standard. I did not get the homemade vibe. We took a couple of bites and tossed it. Overall, we weren't impressed by our first visit to Kelly's Bakery. We will have to go back another day and try something different to verify if it's her overall products that are lacking or if it's just that one particular donut.

Lots of options even a little before they closed. Fun toppings to choose from. Part of the donut trail so you have to get your picture taken in front of the trail sign inside!

On the seventh stop of the Butler County donut trail, I went to Kelly's Bakery. Taking a look at the case, they had quite the variety to choose from that my friend and I had trouble trying to decide on which donuts to get. We decided, in the end, we would get the fruity pebbles, smores, & pumpkin spice donut. The fruity pebbles donut was mixed, being on the cusp of being fresh cereal and stale, which made it still edible, but still not the best that it could have been. The smores donut was definitely the best donut we got there, with plenty of graham cracker & mini marshmallows on top to always get the full taste of a smores in every bite of our donut. The pumpkin spice donut had a vanilla frosting with a cinnamon drizzle on top that was definitely a nice touch and delicious. I would be inclined to try this again and see what some of their other donuts tasted like. They definitely have a good amount of choice there.

This place catered my grandmother's funeral. Great pastries, and the people in the shop were friendly and accommodating, but not TOO friendly, you know what I mean? I'd swing by here for a donut, or for catering a funeral in the future.Apparently they make something called 'Kelly Bread' which is really good, but they didn't have it when I was there, so I don't know anything about that.

We walked into Kelly's Bakery, and we were so excited. We saw Buckeye Donuts, S'more, AND Fruity Pebbles. I wanted them all. There had looked to be a camera crew inside as we walked up, so we weren't sure if it was okay to walk in, but we were glad we did...until the staff informed us that these donuts were STAGED. The film crew was there to film a family experiencing the donut trail, and these donuts had been set aside for them specifically. So, that was SUPER disappointing, and I left feeling a little frustrated and confused. I wonder if they will air this as a segment purporting to offer this variety of donuts when really that's not representative of their typical offering. Or is it, and we just arrived after they'd mostly been cleared out? I was way over-thinking these donuts.Anyways, we went with the comparatively lackluster Apple Fritter and Fried Croissant. The fritter was good [and large!] - crispy on the outside and soft inside with a butter and cinnamon flavor. My husband liked the fried croissant, but I wasn't the biggest fan. It was $3.00 total for these two items. Man, that initial disappointment was hard for me to get over!

Kelly's Bakery custom made cookies for my grandson's First Communion. They also made custom cookies, themed fire department for my great nephew's graduation. They were both times the best quality. I highly recommend Kelly's Bakery.
