KD's Kettering BBQ

This is not BBQ. Having BBQ in the name of the restaurant should be considered a crime or at least a sacrilegious statement to all true barbecue joints that exist and have existed in this world. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. Covering anything at all in a gelatinous mass that you call BBQ sauce does not make it BBQ, it makes it a disaster.

The service and food at this restaurant are ALWAYS off the charts amazing. It's the closest thing to a home cooked Southern meal I have found in the Miami Valley. Tonight my wife and I had broasted chicken and french fries. No surprise to me, the food came out piping hot it was absolutely delicious. We did have a new server tonight, which is a typical. But she was amazing just like every other person who has ever took the time to help us in this restaurant. I cannot recommend them enough. We'll be back soon! THANK YOU!!!

Last time, my boyfriend and I went there he had never tried it. I hadn't been in years. The food was average maybe a little above, service was good. The only thing that we can't recommend is the close seated inside along the front wall tables are pretty smashed together. Also, the cost of our dinner for two people was $66. I thought that was steep for two chicken dinners with two soft drinks.

Is everyone's taste buds off the rails? This was was just meat cooked with slapped on BBQ sauce. I could have done that myself, at home. Never again.

Super cute bbq joint tucked away into an unassuming strip mall. Everyone who works there welcomes you like you're an old friend. It's a cozy ambiance with good food all around. I've had the bbq chicken and ribs, and they were a delight! Juicy and delicious. The sides menu is the gift that keeps on giving. I particularly recommend the corn casserole and sweet potato casserole! And all of their pies are made in house and a must for dessert!

I took my wife and daughters there last week and again they didn't disappoint. Daughters are picky and loved it. Food is great and dessert s are fabulous. Keep up the good work. I love good local businesses

Cabbage rolls are excellent. Outstanding service. Staff are efficient and friendly. Small but cozy if you eat in.

Always a great luncheon menu with specials during the week. I order on Tuesday the best pork loin sandwich with a side salad. Enough for lunch and dinner. Prices are very good and the amount of food is perfect!
