I use Kate's for weekly meal prep and it's one of the best decisions I've made. The menu changes weekly and always keeps a good variety. The food is very well prepared and the portions are sizeable. For the quality, I think the cost is reasonable. You can pick options from healthy to very decadent and snacks to full entrees. The choices are good for the whole family and they even deliver. Definitely a good way to check one to do off your list!

Kate's catered my company's year end party. Katelyn was great to work with, very responsive and worked with our budget. I was so busy checking guests in that I didn't get a picture of any of the food, but we had 3 different stations of heavy appetizers including tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese croutons, potato bites, a taco bar and some of the best beer cheese I've ever had. I would gladly work with Katelyn and her team again!

As work got busier, I was left short on time and have begun to utilize the personal chef services at Kate's Catering. Ordering on the website is really easy, she posts a month's worth of weekly menus at a time which is great to help you plan. All but one of the dishes I have tried so far have been salads. The greens are fresh, all ingredients are flavorful and complimentary to one another, and the homemade salad dressings are top notch!

Kate's catering has catered two events for us at Maxim Crane Works. Both times the level of service and the quality of food was outstanding. They are our go-to for corporate events. The attention to detail, and delicious food will keep us coming back. Thank you again for the great service!

We worked with Katelyn and her team for our May at-home wedding for about 60 guests. She is definitely one of Cincinnati metro area's best kept secrets!She was not just a caterer, but an extremely helpful coordinator who lent us an eye and ear on venue/space layout and helping us coordinate aspects/timeline of our wedding that we weren't even thinking about. Katelyn was amazing at communicating with us by phone or email and went above and beyond what was necessary. We had a weird case where we were doing a backyard wedding at our house and moving the venue to my in-law's house in case of rain (which happened), and Katelyn did site visits at both locations--the latter being literally only 2 days before our wedding. Speaking of service, literally every single person we engaged with on phone or in person before and during the wedding was above and beyond sweet and helpful. It was REALLY hot on our wedding day but these folks were super champs about it and kept everyone in a great mood. As for menu planning, Katelyn's rates are super affordable and she tries to make sure the menu is customized for each event. My husband and I weren't particularly picky with our food as long as it's good, so we trusted Katelyn's decisions and they turned out superb. There was so much food to go around, and it was all amazingly delicious. Do not, I repeat, do NOT forgo the appetizers. I have to say, I could literally eat a bajillion of the pear, brie mousse, and pecan tartlets if I was left alone with a platter of them. I've had a lot of guests say they kept eating the apps and were full before dinner was served (and even then they went for thirds because the chicken piccata and garlic mashed potatoes were so good!)Also, we got bar service, and my jaw literally dropped because we had originally settled for 3 types of beer (Sam Adams + two Great Lakes). I mentioned that Great Lakes beer was a thing that my husband and his friends shared interests in, so Katelyn's team brought several more varieties. Super nice!! Same goes for the types of champagne.We fell in love with Katelyn's service so much prior to wedding that we ended up referring her service to our photographers (who were also planning a wedding, which was before theirs!) They went with Katelyn too and told us they were super happy and that we should look forward to the food... and they were right. Will recommend Katelyn and her team to anyone in my circle for events. I'm reallllllyyyy happy I didn't go with some of the other larger providers for our event.tl;dr Amazing food, above and beyond service. Bar service & apps are SO worth it.

This review is specifically for one of the monthly cooking classes offered here. I attended the December "Treats & Sweets" cooking class and found the overall experience to be quite delightful. The chef-owner, Katelyn, leads the classes and she is a great instructor. I thought she struck the right balance between education from a more technical point of view and fun and interesting demonstration. The kitchen is very open and worked well for the class format. There was a table with all the recipes from the night printed (although I would have actually preferred an email option if offered) and complementary drinks sitting out (beer, wine, sodas, water). Class size is limited to 20, which is about the right size.The majority of the class was Katelyn cooking and talking and the participants listening and watching. At the end, there was about 20 minutes of "hands on" time where we got to actually do some things ourselves (e.g. icing cookies, dipping truffles, etc.). The one thing I was a little disappointed by was that more of the class wasn't hands-on. I really wanted a chance to try more of the things personally that she was demonstrating. I'm definitely planning on going back for another class in the future; they are offered monthly. And I would love to try some of her other services as well!

Kate's Catering is a full time catering business with a brick and mortar location in downtown Dayton KY. They offer lunches and dinners for take-out only from this location. I live down the street from Kate's and love the idea that after a long day of work I can pop in and get a take out dinner that is good quality food (not fast food, although she'll have you in and out in 5 minutes), for a reasonable price. I haven't tried her catering yet, but next time our company needs to feed some clients or our crew, I'd love to give Kate's a try!

We had Kate's Catering for a post wedding brunch. They were beyond our expectations. The food was excellent, the service was professional and all our guests loved it!!! They were easy to work with and their set up was beautiful! The crepe station was a huge hit!!! I would only use them for all my future catering needs.

Will be ordering again! Easy ordering. Responsive team. On-time delivery & set up including chafers, high quality disposables, food tag signs. Food that was SO AMAZING. We cater to this office a lot, and I've never had so many compliments!You don't want to miss the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Parmesan Arrancini, and the Mocha Chocolate Tartlets!

Kate & her staff provided the ultimate in design, quality, & taste for a London Tea Party-themed baby shower. * Not one thing that could have been any better...* Not one thing would I have put in to a category of "could have or should have".Their professionalism & dedication to their clients is paramount.
