K & W Drive In

Stopped by here for the first time on a warm afternoon to get a banana split. Waited in line (in the hot sun) for about 20 minutes. The banana split was big & enough for 2 people. I enjoyed it & would return here for ice cream in the future.

It was super busy tonight but the service was fast and efficient. Food is good: they have great soft serve in many flavors. Their taco in a bag is yummy. They have expanded their menu with more options of icecream I believe. It's all outside though and I don't think they have bathrooms. There are community ones just a short walk away though.

So excited to have my first soft serve ice cream in five years!! All because someone decided to offer GF cake cones. So happy. Thank you!!!They also offer a wide variety of great food and treats! Though I didn't see nachos on the menu and I think that's a necessity!

Pretty poor quality ice cream. I literally threw out my strawberry arctic freeze because it was so terrible. Went up and tried to buy something different and they wouldn't let me use my credit card because it was below $5. I proceeded to explain why I was buying something g different and willing to pay but they wouldn't make an exception.

K & W is a Springboro institution. It probably is the busiest place downtown in the summer. There isn't much else going on around there. It has some seating indoors. They also have the classic walk up window. It specializes in soft serve ice cream. It has the popular blueberry flavor called Boro Blue. They also have Dole Whip. It's about $3 for a cup. The flavors rotate and include raspberry. It has a few tables inside, so that's nice if it's raining. They also have hot food like burgers and hot dogs if you really are hungry enough to eat that. It doesn't have a drive thru like some ice cream places. The window is the most popular spot. It has a small parking lot. It's tough to get in and out. The good thing is there's lots of street parking available so you can park there.

Perched on a corner in downtown Springboro, this place is our go-to for hamburgers and cones ...in many flavors. We are purist and always get the vanilla/chocolate soft serve, with a pup-cup for our dog, Fiona! This place is a local destination for students and families! Service is fast, staff is friendly! Picnic tables to sit and enjoy!

Went for haunted hot dog Halloween for the community of Springboro. For $6 you got a hot dog with choice of ketchup or mustard order of fries and a small ice cream cone. It was a great little snack to follow up with children after trick or treating the main drag of Main Street for the businesses. It was very tasteful and the service was grand. Would recommend this place and will go back to try other items on the menu.

This week I had the lemon Dole Whip for the first time. I have always missed it in the past. Now I am a total lemon head, I love sour anything! And I don't want to be dramatic but I swear it was life changing! This made my whole day! Not being able to have dairy is hard enough and Dole Whip makes my life better, but now that I have Lemon Dole Whip in my life I'm going to be a much happier person! I got a cone and a pint to go, but I will definitely come in again this week before that flavor goes out of rotation again. Thank goodness social media always tells me which flavors are happening every week. Thank you!
