My husband went to pick up our carry out order which he placed through Door Dash. They would not answer the door when he knocked and mouthed "go away". He then pulled up our pick up order and showed her through the door and she just shook her head and made waves her arms to leave and made angry faces. This is directly their fault for not updating the app to reflect that they were closed today. It was just plain rude and could have been handled so differently with an apology that they were not open. We will NEVER return even though we picked up frequently from there.

Details matter on the menu. When you don't state that an ingredient is inside of a dish and people have allergies or an aversion to certain types of food that's not cool. At one point it was probably a great restaurant, but it looks like it has seen better days. Decor is extremely dated.

I tried take-out from here the other day. The waitress was polite over the phone and very thorough and conscientious in taking my order. I walked in to find a clean, spacious "entry room," where my take-out order was waiting (and where, I assume, guests are then escorted to the spacious and sumptuous-looking dining rooms). And then there was the food, which was amazing! I got the Yu Hsiang Pork and the Bean Curd Family Style. The vegetables were freshly cut, and the meat was tender. But what was remarkable were the sauces on both!! Very flavorful, fresh and unique!

Absolutely scrumptious. I ordered takeout over the telephone quite late (9:15) - which was 15 minutes before closing, and the staff was so kind and the food is just as yummy as prime dinner time. I enjoyed the shrimp lo mein which was wonderful and had a ton of perfectly cooked shrimp. The rice was cooked well. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, even at a late hour of the day. This is my favorite local and authentic Chinese restaurant!

Johnny Chan has good food. They had my food ready as soon as I walked in the door. The prices are reasonable. Got to love it.

Disappointing. The service and the food. We hadn't been in a few years and came for dinner last night. From the beginning the service was not good. The younger server was inattentive, forgetful and very slow. It was so bad from the beginning that we contemplated leaving before we ordered any food. We should've gone with our gut. I'll start with the positives - All of the food looked great and tasted fresh. The Hot & Sour soups we ordered as an appetizer were very good. One of the best, if not the best, that we've had. I could've eaten a large bowl of it and been happy. My husband ordered the Yang Chow Shrimp & Scallops. I ordered the Yu Hsiang Seafood Combination.Both dishes had a nice presentation, were fresh and the seafood was cooked perfectly. But the dishes were very lacking in flavor and overly sweet. My dish was supposed to have a spicy garlic sauce - as the in restaurant menu states, the online menu states it has a white wine sauce - it had neither. Not a hint of garlic, no spice whatsoever and so very sweet that I could barely eat it. My husband's dish was supposed to be spicy also. It was not at all. It was bland and sweet. Neither of us ate much of our entrees and boxed it up to take home. Although - it won't get eaten. The food - except for the excellent Hot & Sour soup - tasted like fresh food doused in cheap bottled sauce you'd buy in the grocery store in the Asian food section. Because of the bad service and the disappointing food - we won't be back.

Great food!! They have a fantastic steamed dish where you can get the sauce on the side, it was amazing. My husband had some kind of pepper chicken and he absolutely loved it. Tucked away in a strip mall.

Just picked up a carry out order! General Tso's Chicken w/broccoli! Guess what...no broccoli! Maybe they were out of broccoli but no one bothered to mention that they'd omitted the broccoli...& guess what...the price was the same! With restaurant food prices today...unacceptable!!!

I love Johnny Chan 2! The chicken pad Thai and Mongolian beef is a favorite! Everything I have had from them is great and the portion sizes are plenty for two meals. Even the white rice is superior.
