Cool neighborhood bar with that local atmosphere. Reminds me of Kelsey's Bar on All in the Family. Stop in for a drink and maybe Archie and Edith will be there. Street parking.....

Wanted to edit my last up-date rather than up-date an up-date, but hey, here we go. Jerry's Jug House continues to impress me. The menu changes enough to keep it interesting. I've enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches and, ysk, following them on social media pays off in big ways. Lastest greatest? The Derby drinks!

Top tip - if you want a casual beer or cocktail, or indeed great glass of wine - head to Jerrys. The girls behind the bar that day were great !! very friendly and we had a great chat, although I understand they were only temporary. The place is awesome but small. expect a bit of nudging in busier times at the bar.the beer was cold. the cocktails were great (if a bit sugary)and they had a great organic/natural wine list. we had the arepas (3) 2 beef one chicken - and we left the topping selection to the lady who was cooking them (from scratch) they were great. Add to this great decor - kinda mid century modern, and you have great little bar !!

Jerry's Jug House is back open. The gentlemen of Northside Yacht Club have cleaned the place up and given this little neighborhood joint new life. It doesn't look like much has changed from the outside but once inside, it looks nice with fresh coats of paint and lots of old photos and memorabilia hanging on the walls. History from the past. Really neat stuff. Ask the guys to tell you all about it and they're happy to share. The place is small. The main room has a nice bar and tables for seating. Warning- it gets loud and crowded. There is a very small back room area with additional seating. The restrooms can also be found back there. The restrooms are two individual stalls with one community sink just outside of one for everyone to wash their hands at.Service was friendly and relatively fast. And they offered us pretzels to snack on while we drank.Non-smoking inside now. (Yay!!) The smokers hung out at the tables outside near the front door, which you will have to walk past on your way in and out. I really like what the guys have done here. I'm quite certain we'll be back.

My first visit was a very good one. I came on the first night they were officially open to the public and yeah, it was packed, but the people stayed in the main bar area and did not venture to the back room. The drinks were great and priced reasonably for a neighborhood bar. My group enjoyed Jackie O's Mystic Mama, Braxton IPA, Bells 2 Hearted, and a round of Stroh's. There is a TON of history in this building. No lie. If the head guys (responsible for Northside Yacht Club) are around, chat them up about the place. Thank you for putting this place back together!*Completely ignore Jess B's review about smoking inside the bar. This was the previous incarnation of the bar. Smoking is outside on the sidewalk only, unless I am incorrect.

OK so here's the thing...I literally live a block from this place. And, to be frank, I actually enjoy the idea of having a little teeny-tiny bar in the middle of my awesome neighborhood. The owners are actually super sweet, and if you happen to randomly walk in there, they'll be so shocked that it's not a regular that they'll be entirely welcoming and ecstatic to see you. However, the current state of this bar leaves a little to be desired. First, the place is absolutely and uncategorically a smoking bar so there is a 30% chance that there isn't enough oxygen in the building to keep you alive for more than 30 minutes. Second, the "regulars" appear to be people who are either unemployed and on disability or who have some random jobs that allow them to go to the bar at 10 am (not judging, but come on). But they do have a jukebox (!!!) and a microwave (???). So my dream one day is for someone to buy it and turn it into a non-smoking, fun little sports bar that I can frequent whenever I want. Someone please make that happen. The end.

Adorable! Cool lamps over light colored bar and cute seating. Great VIBE too! Bars are all about the VIBE ! Have package / carry out booze. Definitely cozy. Where we feel like we're in a movie set expecting to see Marlon Brando doing shots with Drake and creating mischief with someone from Greys Anatomy.
