Jeff's Marathon

There is actually a surprisingly large craft beer selection at Jeff's Marathon. Some selections were local, some not. I could see both craft and domestics beers through the walk in cooler door. Prices on beer and wine all seemed reasonable.There are also three flavors if Icee, Lotto tickets, and the usual mix of items found at a convenience store. Oh, and there are gas pumps and a car wash.

Damn. I am embarrassed, as a craft beer lover and enthusiast just now finding out about Jeffs marathon is a shame. If you are a beer fan, get here as soon as possible. Jeff this owner is a super nice guy and equally as knowledgeable. Upon entering and asking about a specific beer he dropped what he was going to help me. From the greeting to the check out the customer service was AMAZING! It is a "gas station" but the main focus is craft beer. The entire building is really really clean inside and out. They do have gas and other normal gas station items such as snacks and cigarettes. Jeff prices all craft beer reasonably and will even take requests to order items. He has everything from single 12 ounces to bombers. Very impressive selection. I will definitely will be a returning customer as well telling all of my friends about this craft beer gem.

Jeff's Marathon has a huge selection of craft beer! David helped us out and was super friendly and knowledgeable. There is so much beer packed into the cooler. If you go, make sure you dig around, we found several gems hiding behind other beers! They even had Prairie Artisan Ales Christmas Bomb - my favorite! So glad we stopped while we were driving through Cincinnati. We will definitely be back!

I left Cincinnati years ago. In that time I have got way into craft beer. Cincinnati has not typically delivered on the goods for cool bottle shops, especially on the ::gasp:: west side. That being said, I had a hankering for some beer and happened to be driving on by this west side haunt. I had adjusted my expectations accordingly and was hoping to get some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Perhaps, if luck was on my side, I would get something from Great Lakes. If luck was decidedly not on my side, then Sam Adams. Well holy hell this place has stepped up its game since my last jaunt through town. Upon perusing their stock I saw that Alesmith, Bell's, Stone, Avery, Rhinegeist, Rivertown, Oskar Blues, Founders, Clown Shoes, etc., etc. were all not just represented, but well represented. They had year round selections and even some seasonals I would have never expected to see! Definitely worth checking the place out if you're in the area and need some brews. Even if you're not in the area, it is still worth making a trip. Yes, it is that good. Oh yeah, they have gas too.

Holy crap. This gas station might just have the best craft beer selection in the city. Even compared to Jungle Jim's. Seriously. Drool!

Wondering why there are numerous signs on the doors that masks are required but the 2 employees were not wearing them. This was on the afternoon of September 11th.
