I am not sure how to rate this place, as 5 stars does not seem like enough.From the hostess, to our waitress and then the food: all were top notch.I won't focus too much on service, as it was excellent. so lets do food.Food: We decided to do the 3 course meal for $65/pp. The Boursin berry salad was great, not just for a salad, but just plain delicious. My plate was cleaned.I had the 12oz strip which was cooked perfectly, coworker had the filet and crab cake, which he said were very good.Then choice two sides, it's just too much! I cant recall what I had besides the baked tater, but I focused on the meat! Did I mention the steak was magnificent?Desert was a toss up between the cheesecake and brûlée. The waitress said the brûlée was made daily in house, so that was it. Second best I have ever had, besides the now closed Chez Paul in Chicago.Overall: If I could eat here weekly, I would! Unfortunately, don't live in the area, but if I come back, this is a must visit!

I capped off an amazing month of birthday celebrations at various restaurants. Jags finished my celebration located in Chester OH. We were greeted by a staff of 6 hostesses that gave us the royal treatment. We relinquished our coats and proceeded directly to our table where we were greeted joyfully by our waitress Kambry. She seated us and immediately tended to our needs by rendering a generous rundown of the menu and specials for the evening. The fireplace added a special ambiance to the evening. We started with wedge salad and crab soup. Both were equally delicious and plenty to eat that was served with delectable bread and butter. We then ordered the main course which consisted of NY Steak strip, potatoes, and broccoli. For me I ordered Chilean Bass, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Everything was just first class and the taste was absolutely AMAZING!I couldn't have asked for better customer service which was the best I ever had in quite sometime. This restaurant is superior in every way you can imagine. I am not sure if I could have asked for a better conclusion to my birthday. We will definitely be back as this will certainly be added to my top list of restaurants.

I came here for the first time to celebrate my friend getting a new job, this place was absolutely wonderful. It is on the price your side, but you definitely get your moneys worth, especially with the portion sizes. The ambience is wonderful, there was live music, but it wasn't extremely loud and overpowering like it can be at some places, plus, the musicians and singer were wonderfully talented. I believe this place is reservation only, so I suggest getting on their website or booking through OpenTable. I put my reservation about six hours before dinner, and was able to get a slot, but there wasn't many slots available, so plan ahead. The service we had was absolutely superb, they bring you fresh bread and whipped butter to eat before your meal. The server we had was very intentive, my drink never ran dry. When the food is brought out, it is nice and hot, it clearly was not sitting under a heat lamp. Being pricey, it's not a place I would go to very often, but it's definitely a great place to go and celebrate something!

A classic and elegant place! The service was a little slow. We had a reservation at 5 and didn't out of the restaurant until 7:15. The food was delicious. One of the best steaks that I have had in my life. Everyone in my party was happy with their meals just disappointed with how long the food took to arrive.

First time trying this as part of restaurant week. Loved the ambiance inside this place. The piano on top of the bar with live music is great!Our server was excellent. His recommendations were spot on, and kept the meal moving smoothly for our party of 4. I started with a Caesar salad. It was good, not great. For my meal, I opted for their 16 oz bone-in ribeye, served Big Oscar style ( tiger shrimp, crab, and lobster meat with béarnaise sauce). For my sides, I chose a loaded baked potato, and steamed broccoli. The steak was EXCELLENT. Cooked perfectly, and the Big Oscar style was delicious. Sides were on point also. The broccoli stalks were huge, and steamed perfectly.We loved this place, will absolutely come back.

Been sometime since I last ate here. Believe it was prior to Covid. Met friends for a birthday celebration for dinner. Reservations made for 8:30pm for party of 10 but had to wait 10 minutes upon arrival for table and to be seated. Service was good with bar service extending to the table. Woman playing live music in the bar was nice touch. Restaurant was busy and lively. Ordered off the Prix Fixe Classics (portion size a little small once plated) : filet, mushroom bisque soup, mash potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely delicious!!!

Great steak house. The food was very good. I had filet MR cooked to perfection. Drinks were well crafted and thoughtfully constructed on the menu. Exceptionally intelligent and engaged service. Piano bar was classy. The overall experience was a throw back to fine dining with expectations being met. Loved it.

Great night at Jags somewhat...service was perfect, food was outstanding and the jazz band was phenomenal! But the Cabernet by the glass SUCKED and we tried all of the Cabs by the glass. Even the bartender said their wines by the glass are horrendous! Why the do you serve it????
