I know it's a barbecue place but have to talk about the collard greens first. They were so good. Probably the best I've ever eaten. Very flavorful. I ordered the brisket sandwich no bun. The meat was tender and very flavorful. Great piece of meat. Hubby ordered the ribs and really enjoyed them. I would recommend this place to anyone. We sat in the bar and our bartender/waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great personality.

First red flag was the lack of that smoky aroma in the air when you're truly smoking food on site. The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was pretty absent and inattentive. All of our food was served room temperature and severely lacked seasoning. The pulled chicken was juicy but the cornbread was so dry that it was inedible. The cornbread was cold and tasted like it had been made a day or so ago and kept in the fridge. The brisket was also very dry. The beans were probably some of the better ones we've had but none of the food tasted fresh. The mac and cheese noodles were way over done. As I said, none of the food was served hot, the cornbread was actually cold, so there is no way that it was freshly made. We do not recommend this restaurant.

We had lunch on a Saturday at noon, it was wonderful.Service was excellent, food was outstanding! We had the Oh No! balls for an appetizer, delicious! I had the Reuben sandwich, but it was different, instead of corned beef it had the smokey beef brisket on it, wonderful, wonderful! My wife had the smokehouse French dip sandwich, she loved it, truly delicious, and for dessert the Bourbon and Chocolate bread pudding, to die for!I highly recommend!

Every visit I've made here has been great. It's such a cute space with nice patio for better weather days. They have excellent happy hour options. Food wise, I've tried several things on the menu and always delicious. Servers are friendly and make great recommendations if you don't know what you want. Definitely recommend this for a nice meal out.

Trying out a new bbq spot in Lexington. We ordered the BBQ platter and banana pudding. Our sides were collard greens and baked beans. We called in the order and a very nice lady took our order. Upon arrival our food was ready and everything was bagged for us. There was a really nice and big patio seating area. Also there was a separate area where they can host events. We had brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork and sausage. Everything was cooked and seasoned very well. The banana pudding was phenomenal.

Place is a classic in Lexington at this point. Excellent brisket, and the smoked chicken is equally as good. My fiance gets the half/quarter chicken every time we go, and she raves about it the whole time. The pulled pork was impressive as well. Sides were sides - nothing amazing but still very good. The price is GREAT for the quantity you get, like you are paying for two meals type quantity. The service is hit or miss. We've had excellent service, and service so bad we left since no one helped us. Really depends on the day. Regardless, its really, really good barbecue, and the price is great for what you get. The location itself is interesting, but it works out. Its quiet, as its in Beaumont, and has plenty of parking since its placed in the parking lot. No complaints there at all. We will come back for certain.

On our only visit I was not expecting anything other than an average meal. We were blown away. My wife had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was better than the much ballyhooed restaurant on Tates Creek. Seasoned and fried perfectly. As good as my grandmothers. I had the French Dip. The best I've ever had. The depth of flavor was noticeable on my first bite. The dipping juice wasn't canned consommé like most restaurants serve. Again more flavor. My side salad was larger than I expected and perfect. Eric was our server and did a great job.
