J&W Breakfast

I love me some J&W breakfast but haven't had it in a few years. Today I got surprised with some and I was so excited, but then a little disappointed. The pork chop is super thin today and tastes mainly of grease with seasoning. The grits are the star of the show when usually it's the grits and pork chops. Hopefully this is just a bad day for pork chops but I look forward to trying them again.

I ordered the full Pork Chop Breakfast absolutely disgusting $15 for a flimsy 1 pork chop all the batter fell poorly seasoned ask for eggs over medium of course received them sunny side updid not receive my coffee. Feed meal to my dog so at least someone was fed.

It's close by and everybody raves about J&W breakfast . It's a local thing and I believe somehow related to Mr Cees Soul Food (enjoy their stuff). I really wanted to be blown away! The reality was it did not live up to the hype for me. I'll be honest, I'm picky now about food since having covid. I found the pork chop sandwich to be thin, fatty, bone in( so be ready to take the sandwich apart and reassemble several times) . And I didn't love the seasoning. I had potatos too and I believe them to have the same "interesting" spice blend. It's maybe soul seasoning( I taste celery salt???) Maybe I'll try it again sometime but I found the prices to be high and for what I paid for this., I would rather drive to Brotherons halfway across town. Forgive me fans of this place. I'd love an alternative order recommendation

This place is popular breakfast spot in the walnut hill community so be prepared for a long wait of 15-45 minutes depending on the time you get there because it stays packed. This place makes great authentic home cooked breakfast sandwiches which too me is so much better than fast food breakfast sandwiches and McDonald's fake egg sandwiches .. The salmon Pattie's are ok a little thick for my liking but The bacon egg and cheese sandwich are pretty good as it is Loaded with bacon a and with a well seasoned egg, you will be satisfied. One time I got it and the toast was a little burnt for my liking and I was annoyed but that didn't stop me from returning.. mistakes happen.. If I had time to make my own breakfast sandwich at home mines would definitely would be equivalent but since I don't have time in the morning this is my go to sandwich When I'm looking for homestyle Cooking!

i found a dead roach cooked in my food... i luckily didn't eat anything from the box but this place shouldn't even be open if they have roaches running across the griddle

Their pancakes are the best I have ever had in my life. You can call ahead for quick service. The people that work there ate very nice. My favorite spot for breakfast food.
