Did an online order for 3 double deckers. Get there 15-20 min later and send my teenager in to get it. The woman at the counter ignored her for several minutes. I go in and they cannot find my order. They say it's a new system and no one knows how to use it. They keep telling me they are making the order. 25 minutes go by and they determined they don't take online orders. So they start making the order as a new one and tell me I have to pay again and request a refund online for the online order. They have a card reader and a card machine but guess what. They don't take cards. I have to go to the atm and get cash. Several people sat down and dined in the restaurant and left before I did. This was absolutely insane. I will never return to this place because of the service.This place is a joke.

If you're looking for a good breakfast or lunch spot, I came across J & J restaurant on Cincinnati's Westside. It's all about good home cooking, getting a good meal at a fair price and friendly smiles and good service. I chose the roast beef sandwich. This is real roast beef baked in an oven and absolutely delicious. Reminded me of what my mother would've cooked when special guests were coming over. I saw a few breakfast dishes go by even though we were in the middle of lunch hour and I made a mental note to go here for breakfast. Oh! Bring cash... they don't accept credit cards.

Stopped by J and J restaurant the other day after seeing it pop up on Chowdown Cincinnati multiple times. I was kind of surprised that it was a brunch place as well because that is not the vibe that was given off. There were old school diner booths but the walls were plain. I went for the double decker sandwich and was not disappointed. I swear it was 2 pounds of meat. I got the Ham and Ham mostly because it was a craving but i did not see an option for ham and turkey even though there was other meat combinations. With the order of 2 sandwich's and one plate of fries was a total of $40 which i thought was kind of high for a lunch. We finished our meal and paid in cash and left. I am unsure if they took card but there was an ATM inside. personally i am kind of confused on why this was hyped so much online and while there was nothing terribly wrong with it. I don't think that i will be back just because it was not as amazing as expected. The positive was that the server was extremely friendly and was amazing! shout out to her!

Great food and a lot of it for the cost! Waitresses are always friendly and very attentive!!

Their double deckers are huge and worth the money. But don't order a bacon and cheese sandwich. It's the same price, $13.50. About 3 slices of bacon Ana a piece of cheese. Worth half that price.

The food is good and the service is friendly! They give you large portions which used to be a lot for your money but now a days it matches the cost ‍ the good ol days have gone away but the quality of the food hasn't. Enjoy!

The food is wonderful. Servers with an attitude make it wonderful.The homefriies and coneys are very good

Cod sandwich was very greasy .very fast service but it's cash only ATM at the door with fees

Service, portion size and price are old school and we great appreciate the values of this restaurant! Diamond in the rough for sure!
