This was a good place to eat until new owner came, and now very poor and the woman has no sense of decorum or business acumen!?? Sorry, but it is what it is and food not worth mentioning!!!

Chicken and Noodles is back for the Wed. lunch special. The lunch specials are good, always a roll and a side vegetable. They have chicken and ice cream as well. There are single slices of pie that are made locally in Sabina OH. Deli meats and cheese are available, not a huge selection, but still. I'm a fan.

When ever I drive thru Sligo on my way to hang with my Wilmington friends I make sure to stop in for pizza and snacks at the J&D market. I call the order in driving up 71 so it's ready when I get there. The pizza is simple, delicious and affordable. The selection while not huge is more interesting than your typical gas station quick stop. They have a small amount of deli selection and homemade items. The place is clean and the employees are always very friendly.

Friendly folks run this place and that scores MAJOR points with me! The food is awesome and is rather reasonably priced also. Their $5 lunch specials Monday thru Friday can't be beat! The Indians seem to be taking over American convenience stores, and it is very refreshing to see Americans running a business and providing a place for members of the community to gather.

They have the.best. Coffee. Especially in the morning. How it is later I couldn't tell ya. Hopefully they keep up on it! All of their packaged sandwiches priced about a dollar more than places in more competitive areas. The deserts looked down right delicious! The store is clean and they do have a made-to-order section. We did buy the ham salad. Very, very good -almost home made. There are two gas stations on the route 73-Wilmington exit that have no desire to accommodate the travelers' needs. BP and Shell. No public restrooms either side. To get there, getting off I71, 380 is on the east side. turn south on 380. Go to route 22 and turn left. It is a short distance on the right. Oh, the drive is county, country. Bucolic.

They have delicious mozzarella sticks but unfortunately have not been able to get them because the last couple weeks every time we stop in the kitchen seems to be closed .we were told one time that they closed at five, so the next time we showed up at 4:40 was told that and the kitchen was already closed. it just depends on the day they said. I don't know how you can ever stop and get food when you never know when the kitchen is going to be closed.

I've traveled the Highways and byways of Amerika for many years! Top most of the best eating places and reasonable prices, I've ever experienced, this is one of the top ten in my book! Usually avoid chain restaurants as the staff is underpaid and generally lacksadaisical, but that isn't true here. They are cordial and polite and deliver great home cooked meals as well as a variety of sandwiches ~Deli Style. They also have a wide variety of deserts including hand scooped Sundaes and Shakes with a flair to the exotic. Fountain drinks are good for us old guys who are diabetic and their coffee is fresh brewed and high octane. Love the foliks there and it's one of my regular weekly stops.
