It was my 1st time eating here but the people who invited us are long time residents in the neighborhood of Martinsville. First off our seating hostess was the friendliest amongst the crew there. She was the only person who also checked on us twice. Food: hair on the salad which they replaced, we did not get any refills in all our drinks (party of 4) but the tables around us did, we ordered 2 steaks that was medium but needed a saw or sharp scissors and not a steak knife to cut, and omelletes were dry. Service: I am sorry to say it was horrible. Granted it was busy brunch time on Sunday but we only saw our server twice, to get our order and dropped off the replacement salad (1st order had hair), NO one checked on us to see how was the food and never refilled our drinks. I told the lady at checkout that may be they have a new kitchen crew, very short staffed or not their regular crew (but it seems the other tables were taken care off) but not us. To pay $87 for 4 person, I am sorry to say I am not going back there again. I hope this helps and improve their food, service and treat customers better.

Food was good. Allot of options as they have breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout their hours open. The waffles tasted just like bread though, nothing special. But appreciative though. Due towards this restaurant being in Martinsville and I am a black man, I wondered how people would respond since Martinsville gets a bad rep with minorities from history. People seemed nice even though I did get a few stares lol and hot sauce ordered without me asking lol. The inside was spacious and pretty clean. There was random napkins on the floor when I first walked in (disappointing to see), other than that pretty decent. The cashier didn't know how to use Apple Pay but I somewhat helped and another staff helped her as well. Fun people to be around with if you asked me. Thank you guys!

Indy's is a nice, cozy restaurant that I would recommend primarily for breakfast. I used to frequent quite a bit growing up and I think there has been the smallest bit of a quality change. The service was a bit off during my last visit. It felt like our seating area was ignored for the most part, so it took a bit of time to even be able to order our food and get a menu to look at.

The food is very average (we have been for breakfast and dinner and breakfast is definitely better). The staff is very friendly and welcoming!

When we first moved into the area back in the beginning of 2019 we tried Indy's. The kids did not seem too enthusiastic about it so it was only this week we tried them a second time. With all the construction mess going on in the area it takes a little detouring around to get to it. But I have to say we both really enjoyed our meal and plan to eat there again later this week. I got the fish sandwich and fries. It seems like when you order fish at any non seafood restaurant it is always hit or miss. I'm happy to say it was a hit! It was fried to perfection and I enjoyed every last bite. My granddaughter got breakfast and she only left a couple bites of pancake and a half piece of bacon. She is really picky about her sausage so the fact she ate both sausage links, bacon, 2 eggs and almost 2 pancakes says a lot! I have to tell you when we first sat down she asked me if this was an "old" people's place. I laughed and told her that old people know what's good. Oh and the prices were reasonable, less than $20 for both us, food and drinks. Our server was friendly and kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. I am thinking about they fish sandwich right now, wonder how late they are open?
